Reviews
On entering we were warmly welcomed by the manager and escorted to our table. The decorations were beautiful and there were even automatic lights on our table. The waiter took our straight away and he made a good effort to try and pronounce the dishes.
For starters we had ordered the Chilli Panner. The overall taste was okay but it could have been made better, which is the only reason I’m giving service a 4.
For the mains, we ordered a Panner Karahi, Mixed Veg and Garlic Nanns. All were superb and high quality. Fab!
Although the prices are a bit high than other Indian restaurants, the quality of food overtook me. You may see some reviews about the time to bring food and I will have to admit that it does take a bit longer than other restaurants but definitely not over 45 minutes.
Well done maison de Masala
We ordered Chicken Tikka, Shahee Paneer, Dahi Puri, and Papadoms for starters — everything was delicious, with good portion sizes. The Dahi Puri was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic.
For the mains, we had Chilli Naan, Peshawari Naan, Butter Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, Mutton Curry, Dal Makhani, and Pulao Rice. Every dish was full of flavor and perfectly cooked.
The ambience was awesome, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, a great dining experience — highly recommend Maison de Masala for anyone who loves tasty Indian food!
The service was quick our drinks and food arrived without a long wait. We tried the Bhel, which was served in a fancy cart a fun touch. The puris were soft and fresh, and the flavor was spot on. The Hyderabadi Biryani was also excellent and definitely worth ordering.
Overall, we had a great dining experience. The food was fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. Definitely worth a visit!
We tried a variety of dishes, and nothing disappointed. The pani puri shots were a fun, modern twist on a classic. The butter chicken tacos were surprisingly delicious. It was creamy, flavourful, and perfectly balanced. The chilli chicken had just the right amount of heat, and the chicken lollipop was crispy, juicy, and well seasoned.
For mains, the Old Delhi butter chicken was rich and comforting. The Lucknowi lamb biryani was fragrant, layered with spices, and packed with tender pieces of lamb. Easily one of the standouts of the meal.
The drinks were refreshing too, especially the Blue Lagoon mocktail, which added a nice pop of colour to the table.
The price felt fair considering the quality, portions, and variety. Overall, Maison de Masala offers a lovely dining experience with flavourful dishes, beautiful presentation, and an ambience that enhances the whole experience. I’d definitely go back and highly recommend it if you’re in Swansea and craving something special.
The food was also quite good and we particularly enjoyed the butter chicken and chicken lollipop starter but nothing amazing Although we will be back and next time I hope to try something that I can’t find anywhere else around South wales.
The service was fast, but the restaurant was empty when we visited.
