The beef stew is homemade and hearty. The bun on the cheese burger is dry. The fries are ok but they have several sauces. The pizza is ok. Bratwurst is …

As far as ski lodges go, the Alpine Rose at Brighton is pretty pedestrian. It does do the job, though, if you need a break for food and drinks while out on the slopes. We thought the food was solid. The lodges needs updated though.

Meh. Fits the bare minimum of a resort food court really. See my photos for updated menu prices. Compared to the photo posted 3 yr ago, everything is $3-5 more expensive. The $6 fruit cup has every bit of its life sucked out of it before they sold it. The bread bowl chili is probably the best bang for your buck.

I ordered a chili cheese dog no bun for lunch today. Staff did a good job Covid speaking. Kept social distancing standards, limited capacity, gloves and masks. It took about 15 minutes to order and then another 20 to get my food. My dog was definitely not good enough to wait 35 minutes for.
I should point out as a celiac customer this is virtually my only choice to eat at Brighton. It’s 2021 maybe it’s time to pick the game up on the food offering this year at Brighton??

Ordered a bratwurst, grilled cheese and cheese fries (Not all for myself I had my two kids with me). The bratwurst and grilled cheese were excellent, while the cheese fries satisfied they were nuked a little too long which hardened the cheese a little much.
Prices aren’t too crazy if you order the right items, but we always take time for the food break before we get back on the slopes.

Really good ski lodge food! Unlike a lot of other resorts, the food is actually really good! It’s pretty reasonably priced too, at least for ski resort fare. They have a wide variety of options, more so than a lot of other places. My only complaint would be that there isn’t much indoor seating, so it gets really really crowded during mealtimes.

Edit update: they’ve gotten a bit better and it seems like they’re not going full crazy on resort pricing compared to some places. Give it a shot and stick to the simple fare
Would rather eat a sandwich that I crashed on a dozen times and lose $20 on the slopes before eating here again. Minor tweaks in the kitchen and they could have way better food.
Vegetable soup and bratwurst were barely passable for cafeteria grade food

It’s ski lodge food at ski lodge prices. We got the hamburger and bratwurst. Not disgusting but also nothing amazing.

Good food, great views, chaotic environment. No line for chili and soup.
