This is a beautiful space for a restaurant. I assume the low lighting is to help build the ambiance however, it could be a little brighter and not take away from the feel imo. Our server was amazing. She made recommendations when I asked. She was attentive and friendly. Our food and drinks came out quick and were brought by other people who were also very friendly. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The apps I ordered were good and the presentation was very pretty. Alot of things just seemed to be lacking opportunities for flavor.

This was the first time I ever, eaten here, the food was just okay. The fried oysters had no flavor the dipping sauce had more kick than oysters. I also had the lump crab Mac and cheese this was also unimpressive if it had crab it was one spoon full, if I never go again that will be okay. The atmosphere was beautiful staff was nice, food unimpressive.

It wasn’t that great. I was expecting more. Our appetizer was terrible. We got the Tuna Tataki. It came quick, so quick you know it’s been sitting in the fridge ready to go. The fish tasted too fishy. It was dry and the sauce tasted old. I got the shrimp and grits. It was okay. The wife got the shrimp tacos. It was bland. Walked out of there paying 80 bucks with tip. That included couple of beers and a flat soda. Waitress was nice.

Headed in from Raleigh this evening and stopped by Main & Mill. Wonderful restaurant with very courteous staff. We had Crab cake sandwichs, peel and eat shrimp, clam chowder, oysters, sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese. Absolutely delicious. If you have a chance stop by early, reservations go quick.

Recommended and it did not dissapoint. Excellent food and service. From the watermelon salad to the tuna dish, salmon dish, and even the cheeseburger!!! I enjoyed my ribeye on 7/29/23. I also ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio . It was also very delicious, so I asked the bar for the brand name. It’s “Tiamo”. Excellent brand. He expressed that he would try it one day. Very sweet staff. Very patient staff!! A special thanks to young Jordan, our waiter , for doing the your best servicing our large group of Ladies. I hope to visit whenever I’m back in NC
