I have been using Main and Market Catering for over 15 years for both personal celebrations and corporate parties, and they have consistently exceeded my expectations every single time. Whether it’s an intimate gathering, a large corporate event, or a milestone celebration, their food is always outstanding, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully prepared.
Most recently, Main and Market catered a wedding I planned, and once again they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Guests could not stop raving about the food, people were talking about it all night. The cake and cupcakes were an especially huge hit; everyone was obsessed and kept commenting on how delicious they were. It was truly memorable and exactly what you hope for at a wedding.
What really sets Main and Market apart is the team. Working with Evie and Nan is always fantastic. They are professional, responsive, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in making every event a success. They make the entire planning process seamless and stress-free, which is invaluable, especially for something as important as a wedding or big event.

The mushroom soup was very good. The rockfish was not fresh. We had to send it back. My wife’s chicken pot pie was disappointing. The quality of the chicken was poor and very scant. A bland puff pastry sitting on top of a cup of thick sauce with bits of dark meat and vegetables does not resemble a chicken pot pie worth $24. It was not sitting “in a golden flaky pie crust,” as described. It did come with steamed broccoli on the side and a side salad.

Been a customer here for over 25 years. It’s always been a little pricey, but the food is consistent, and the baking exceptional. Like everywhere there prices and value have gotten worse, which I understand. However, they have seen to lost the plot and are unconcerned about the value of they are offering up their customers. Behold the $10.50 Onion Soup I picked up for my ill mother. It’s small, unremarkable (although, tasty as usual), and includes a 3% fee for the privilege of using a credit card. They have lost the plot if they believe this is a fair deal. Prices being what they are everywhere, I will only support establishments who attempt to be fair to their customers in these difficult times.

After my son‘s dental appointment, which is right upstairs, we decided to have lunch. I haven’t been to Maine and market in quite a while and I’m so glad we decided to go. The food was amazing, I love their menu. Everything sounds so good. I decided to have the pesto salmon bowl, which was absolutely delicious and plentiful, I had to take some home. My son had the salmon and he thought it was quite delicious. And the service is always on spot. The cocktail menu is yummy as I had the berry basil cocktail, it was so good. I had to have two!

We have been dining at M&M for years and have never had a bad meal! It’s our favorite restaurant in Annapolis. This past weekend my husband and I took our daughter and son-in-law to dinner and Jackson was our server. He did a wonderful job of taking care of us, and was so welcoming and attentive. Jackson made a couple of cocktails that were absolutely outstanding! The food was delicious- we enjoyed the meatloaf, salmon, and a bowl dinner- each one was amazing! For dessert, we enjoyed the chocolate mouse cake and the blueberry bread pudding- delicious!! Thank you Jackson and M&M, you never let us down!!!

I have eaten here several times over the years- in restaurant, via carryout and delivery via Door Dash. The food is always delicious. Their desserts are yummy, though a little on the expensive side. The only one I didn’t personally enjoy was the apple spice cupcakes. Just not my favorite. I would easily give them 5 stars except in the past couple years I have had inconsistent service. They will include food items I request not to get (due to allergies) and forget to give me food items I do request and pay extra for (usually dressings or sauces). Or I am given the wrong condiment (horseradish something instead of lemon aioli). It’s happened so frequently that I have to check my orders now before leaving the restaurant and have started favoring carryout over delivery, which is at times inconvenient for me. The order tickets are clear (I get a copy), so I don’t get the issue. Do better and be better people! Your restaurant is semi upscale as are the prices, so I should expect and receive exceptional service!! Please improve as I want to continue enjoying your food for years to come, but if things don’t improve, I will have to take my business elsewhere. Annapolis certainly has no shortage of restaurants to choose from.

Had such a great Valentine’s Day dinner! The food was amazing, our waitress Carmen was so attentive and nice! Even the busser was awesome and always on top of clearing the table quickly!
