The staff was pleasant and friendly and seated us quickly and took our drink orders. The Gin & Tonic was perfect and the Sapporo was nice and cold. The owner, Lou, came over and chatted with us for a couple minutes and was very nice. The appetizers were excellent (Maekha Thai Combo Appetizer Platter), the main dishes (Green Curry and Seafood Hot Pot) were phenomenal. We split a Mango Sticky Rice dessert which was also an exceptional treat! Loved the whole experience! I will definitely return! Thank you for a wonderful meal in a beautiful restaurant!

Maekha Thai was a delightful discovery. I happened to be passing after picking up by girlfriend at Logan, and we found ourselves hungry and stuck in heavy traffic right outside the restaurant. I wasn’t confident that it would be a decent place, but we took a chance. I’m glad we did!
The restaurant is spacious and nicely decorated. There was plenty of choice on the menu for this vegetarian, and my dish (tofu and spicy eggplant) was delicious. My girlfriend’s meal — tofu in a basil sauce — was also wonderful. We saved some of the main course so that we could try the sticky rice dessert. Holy crap, it was so delicious! The only negative thing was that the service was a little slow.
We had a nice chat with the owner, Lou, and read the very touching story of how he and his late partner started the establishment.
Overall this was a great dining experience, and I’d happily go back.

We live in the city and have eaten at so many Thai places, but this place serves by far the best Thai food we’ve eaten in Boston. This place is in revere so it’s a short drive for us from Boston. Being Indians, we love our Thai food spicy and rich in flavor. This place never disappoints. The first time we visited this place, my husband (by mistake) forgot his credit card in the restaurant. The owner, Chef Lou was very kind and had it mailed to us overnight. Ever since then we’ve been to this place more than a dozen times. Chef Lou is very personable and always comes over to check on us and have a chat.
My son asks for Thai at least once a week and so we end up here every weekend. The portions are reasonable and we always have left overs to take away. The staff knows us by now and knows that our preference is for spicy rich flavor and they never disappoint. We get the spicy basil fried rice and drunken noodles which are the best we have had. Their chu chee curry is a nice blend of red and yellow curries and brings a fusion of flavors unlike one we’ve tasted before. Most places in the city make overly sweetened Thai, this place however is authentic. We will probably be visiting this place every weekend since we end up craving it anyway.

Poor service. Not really authentic Thai food. It’s more of American style flavor. Service is poor. Waitress looks to always be in a bad mood.
And what Thai restaurant doesn’t have “Thai Boat Noodles” on the menu. Well apparently this one.
Pineapple fried rice taste like crap.

Amazing food – consistently ordering here since late 2014 and the food is seriously delicious. Tom Yum soup with shrimp, crab Rangoons, and chicken yellow curry are my go-to’s, but the fresh rolls, threes paradise, and duck with peanut sauce should definitely be tried. The takeout is just as consistent and the service at the place is friendly and knowledgeable; plus everything is fairly priced and great portions. You should really really try this place out.

Wish I could give 0.5 star… food is horrendous and they deceive on top of that. We ordered some fried rice and curry items for the family. Food items were not hot to begin with (I suspect they brought reheated items) and tasted watered down as they would in any typical Thai restaurant. Also keep an eye for the bill as they add tips without your permission. We came out more hungry than we went in and paid ~$30.00 for two entrees which were not good to begin with. Never had such a worst experience.

I went here on a Sunday night and it was dead. I brought in a can of Red Bull because I’m diabetic and need quick sugar sometimes. About 10 minutes after we ordered our food, a tall guy approaches our table and introduces himself as the chef but he has a walkie talkie and not dressed like a chef. He tells me that they don’t allow outside drinks, even though I told him I need a quick sugar. Mind you the can wasn’t open, and my girlfriend and I had already ordered an appetizer, two meals and drinks.
I canceled our main course and asked for the bill. If this was a store policy, the server that sat us, took our order and brought us our drink and appetizer didn’t say anything. They had to send “The chef” to tell us that my “outside” drink would not be allowed. I would not recommend this place due to lack of situational awareness and basic human decency. I can’t comment on the food as I lost my appetite very quickly.

First time I’ve been disappointed having dinner there. My crab regions are usually the very best you can find anyplace but last night the inside wasn’t hot. I also had Chicken Cashew Nut but this time it was as if the spices were left out and it had very little flavor. .this is usually the best food you can find anyplace. I’ll try it again sometime because the owner is awesome. This is the second time this has happened.☹️

I and my husband go to the restaurant every week for at least one meal, sometimes we do delivery as well. Honest to say, food is definitely good, but the service is so disappointing! Every time we eat in the restaurant, the servers seem unhappy to serve us, and even talk behind us in their language! But that’s ok for us because we really love the Thai food. Today, we do delivery. But accidentally, they delivered the wrong food. I called the restaurant to ask them if they sent the wrong dish. The woman answered the phone said no, that was what I ordered! I feel so sad that they couldn’t admit their mistake. I’ve been there thousand times, and every time I do order the same thing, which means I knew it was a wrong dish at first glance!
Then another woman picked the phone, instead of admitting they delivered the wrong food, she even shouted to me and would not redelivery either give me the refund! I am actually OK with the wrong food, what I only need is they admit it was a wrong delivery and apologize for the poor attitude to the customers!
As loyal customers, I and my husband will never ever go to the restaurant again nor order online!
Poor service, you will experience even at the first time.

I was looking for a good Thai restaurant to have lunch before my flight back home, so Google bought me to Maekha Thai and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Even though our waitress had quite an off putting attitude, prompt attention from Chef Lou turned what could have been an unpleasant time into an utmost pleasure. I finally got to experience mango with sticky rice, and it was awesome!!!
