Good food and service, but missing a few finer details (steakhouse with paper napkins?). Tried lobster Mac and Madison’s sirloin, both were very good! Their wine list is decent as well. The ambiance isn’t as cozy or romantic as Scotch and Vine, but it is a welcome substitute. We will return!

Was good , I had the blue steak salad, it was a mixed bag lettuce with a nice steak and blue cheese crumbles on top. Tasty but not over the top. We also had the lemon basil salmon with rice . Nice sauce and flavors. Very satisfied with both meals and service. Though seem to be a bit new at the job.

We went in there to grab brunch. We live about five minutes away and haven’t gone since it opened due to mediocre reviews online. We were hopeful brunch wouldn’t be too hard to mess up. We walked in and there were about 6 people seated at the bar and 3 tables filled with people. It was not busy. After waiting 8 minutes to be seated we left. The bartender had enough time to tell us “we’ll be right with you”, twice, while we waited, but apparently neither she nor the other waitress had enough time in the mostly dead restaurant to seat a couple of people.

Went here for dinner and had an amazing meal . My daughter had the Mac and cheese which she said was the best she’s ever had . Then we had the elk sliders , spicy prawns and blue steak salad . Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. The beer tap selection was very good . We had a great time and will be back for sure .

I highly recommend you don’t go. The interior is simple and a bit chilly but nice, the bar is nice, the booths are good. Food is EXPENSIVE & mediocre in taste at best, service takes forever for the bare minimum, the bartender & server got into a verbal argument at the bar in plain view with zero apologies later. I asked for the food to go to give my dog a taste & after 10 mins went to the back to ask for my ice cream (came with the meal) to go and the bill & I found my box of food open sitting on the bar. The bartender appeared to be in charge but when she came to my table at the end to semi apologize she explained it had been a horrible & exhausting day and she was sorry even though she knows it shouldn’t have affected us. She offered my son free ice cream to go and blamed the server for all the horrible service. When we got the $94 tab the lady gave us a $50 gift card and said she sincerely apologized and hoped we would be back. I think I will gift it to someone else. I live in Des Moines but don’t believe I will be here again. As I write this my husband discovered the bartender is the owner. Wow. IF you do go, I suggest getting a basic drink (their specials aren’t great) & the gnocchi as I will say it was good. Good luck.

Went on a Friday night.. They have a great Happy Hour menu. Lots of verity, good prices and very tasty. Our server, Nicky was super friendly and attentive. I will definitely be going back!
