Got the chicken nachos on my lunch break. I think it’s the only prepared food nearby that isn’t from a cornerstore or fastfood. After I ate my nachos I felt like I’d eatten something nourishing. even though nachos aren’t exactly health food I felt like I’d eaten real and good food that my body needed- chicken, beans, veggies, cheese, corn tortillas. Nachos are a good size serving. (I did save my cheese sauce on the side for the half I took home for my teen son. They gave me samples of their yummy smoothies while I waited to order. Now my lunch is at 10:15 am so I can’t go anymore bc they don’t open until 11 am.

Been here a couple of times. Food is fresh. Smoothies are great. Empanadas are delicious. Haven’t had a bowl yet but if I ever have a taste for Chipotle, this is where I’d go! No need to go to big chains when you can support small business and still get great food! Oh and customer service is top notch! Their friendly vibe and interactions really stand out and adds so much to the experience of this establishment. I highly, highly recommend!

After spending a day in Ridley Creek State Park heading home back into the city. We wanted to choose a place that we haven’t been to. We were looking for a place with regular food and vegan options. My friend suggested taking a ride into the West Philadelphia Cobbs Creek area as there are constantly new businesses popping up. Coming down West Chester Pike and making our way over to Baltimore Avenue was our plan on cobs Creek Parkway. We came across a restaurant called machos delish mix. I’ve been past this place numerous times and never took notice to it. I don’t know how because it stands out, so I immediately stopped once I saw Rice bowls, and smoothies, knowing that I think there would be something in there for both of us I have to tell you I couldn’t be more happy that we stopped there because this place was fantastic numerous vegan options as well as regular food items were available here, including some great smoothies in açai bowls. This is a really nice place. It has nice outdoor seating and it’s decorated very nicely on the inside and I like the fact that it’s in a neighborhood rather than in Center City where you’ll find most vegan restaurants the staff here is extremely friendly and all our in tune with what’s on the menu And the ingredients.’ There’s no guest work here as I have found that in places that have vegan options. Sometimes you roll the dice a little bit not here what a genius idea this place is I’ll be posting the menus. They do have a website online that you can look at many options For vegetarian vegans and regular every day eaters my friend chose salad bowl that consisted of purple, black, forbidden rice, kale, roasted sweet potatoes, roasted beets, chard, corn, green peppers, chickpeas, barbecue tofu, sautéed mushrooms, avocado, and chipotle, lime dressing, while I’m not a big fan of kale for the most part in salads. This one was extremely good the best I’ve had in each item that was built into this bowl from our choosing was seasoned perfectly. This is a very good value for the size bowl that they give you for myself I chose a vegan wrap made from the menu item called the Iverson bowl. I swapped out the kale for Romain lettuce I had put in barbecue tofu black beans, brown rice, red onions, Red cabbage, roasted artichokes and roasted broccoli what a huge portion this was I added chipotle lime dressing. This was absolutely delicious. I can’t believe I’ve missed this place and can’t wait to get back here, I need to make another mention of the , extremely friendly folks and offered samples of smoothies and the açai bowls, which was really nice to see, and they were absolutely delicious. on the way out i met the co-owner Sheldon who is also A MILITARY VET what a nice guy, with million dollar smile, thank you for such a great business!

This was my first time, but not my last. I ordered the Iverson, tacos, seafood salad and Kids quesadilla. The Iverson I said not to mix and it was mixed. This salad surprised me because it was warm. The brown rice was warm and the broccoli cooked. I loved it, even the tofu which I never eat, but was curious. I only substituted the vinaigrette and added avocado ranch dressing. Next time I’ll ask for no red onions. The kids quesadilla was 3 triangles. 2 had chicken, and one had only cheese. They added a few tortilla chips too (no salsa). The seafood salad is located in the GRAB AND GO section, so don’t forget it if you order it. It has a little kick and tastes heavy on the seafood seasoning. Try it for yourself and see if you like it. Overall, I’m already thinking about what to get next.

Great to have a restaurant with healthy options without having to go into the city or to KOP. Everything is fresh and the prices are reasonable. The Dominican chicken and steak soup was amazing — especially for the winter. You could taste the REAL fruit in the Mango Supreme smoothie and the ginger was a welcome touch in the Green Power Smoothie. Enjoyed creating my own bowl. This spot is DEF a hit.

Absolutely Incredible! A hidden gem!
I can’t say enough good things about this place The bowls are out of this world – bursting with flavor, super fresh ingredients, and honestly HUGE portions for the price. You definitely get your money’s worth. The service was top notch. You feel like a welcome guest rather than just another customer. I left full, happy, and already planning my next visit.
