This was a first time visit and I wasn’t pleased at all with my experience! Social media content creators really hyped this place up and so badly I wanted to like it. When walking into the environment we weren’t even welcomed, or greeted by the staff. You have to place your order in the back of the store which nobody informs you of as first timer. My chicken tacos were served to me 100% COLD, but suppose to be fresh cooked meat off of the grill. The chicken was BLAND, no flavor to it, no seasonings to it whatsoever on the meat! My tacos were just “fresh” ingredients placed on a soft tortilla shell and that’s it! The fruit smoothie I got was good, but they charged me $10 for a smoothie that was suppose to be a size large in a size medium cup. First time impressions especially with 2 items I spent $24 on are everything. It was a one and done situation for me. It reminds me of elementary school cafeteria food at best.

One word to describe Macho’s is REFRESHING! Feels great to have a healthy food alternative in an urban neighborhood. Instead of potato chips and candy, you can get a fruit salad and fruit smoothies. Macho’s have bowls, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and so much more. The food portion is out of this world. I can never finish my bowl in one sitting, there’s enough for two servings. There are so many different protein, toppings, and dressing options. Seafood salad is a must!! Mango Supreme smoothie is my go to. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly. Next time you’re hungry, check them out. Be there or be square.

So walked into new spot on Cobbs Creek Pkwy and had no idea how good the food would be. Very healthy choices and not too hard on the pocket. The green power smoothie was amazing and the Mumba bowl didn’t stand a chance from my appetite.

I’m really mad I spent $20 in here because the food is mediocre. And I don’t even have time to take it back and get a refund. The rice and meat was so bland no flavor no seasoning NOTHING. I asked for charred corn on my burrito and I got canned corn! Asked for sour cream, do you see sour cream in that picture??? Asked for avocado do you see avocado in that picture??? EVERYTHING was cold, the rice the chicken the peppers the steak everything was cold like it just been sitting out. My steak was over cooked and dry. I also wasn’t offered another sauce because apparently the sauce I asked for was unavailable, if that’s the case it should of been updated on the menu. My soda was hotter than my food. And I grabbed it out the refrigerator. Everything was just a mess. First and last time, please don’t let the social media hype bring you here. Really can get better food and service from chipotle or Qudoba at this point. And they don’t give you a receipt after paying for your food either. Also should work on customer service everyone behind the counter just looked and me and a friend upon entering and never said do you need help how can I help you, nothing.

This restaurant is definitely one of my new favorite spots!! They recently opened but I’ve already been at least 3 times. I love that you can grab and go or dine in. They also have outdoor seating available. I’ve had the mamba bowl, the el macho burrito and the beef burria tacos! Definitely recommend all 3! The food is fresh and the restaurant is clean. The staff is also friendly and helpful, which definitely matters to me.

This is by far one of the best food options in West Philadelphia. The options are endless and the flavor is AMAZING!!! Food is always fresh and the service is always friendly. I would highly recommend. My bowl was soo delicious I remembered to take a picture 1/2 through!

The food gets served fast so know what you want. I got the #Iverson but switched the dressing to pesto vinaigrette… it was amazing. The spinach and cheese empanadas are so delicious and I ordered a mango Supreme smoothie and added vanilla protein… also amazing. Love this new addition to the neighborhood. This was my first visit and I can’t wait to try the other food here.
