Oredered the grandma classic Mac n cheese. At first I noticed my to go was piping hot in a plastic container. Not sure how’d they fix this so can’t really blame them but anybody trying not to eat microplastics I would avoid ordering to go. Mac n cheese overall was lower quality than I would have figured. Bread crumbs did not give it any justice. Best part was the buffalo sauce I had to pay an extra 50 cents for which was worth it. Front lady was very nice and cool atmosphere but Mac n cheese was mid. This place was not really worth the hype. I paid 11.27 for some pasta and cheese sauce they probably make for under 2 dollars. If your looking for a better quality Mac n cheese go to little pub in Branford or old saybrook.

I thought it was Pizza Mac….as in Cici’s pizza with Mac and cheese….but it was a very small bowl with dry Mac and cheese…and whole lot of bread crumbs . The kids meal…well…10 fries and more Mac and cheese.

There’s something undeniably comforting about the simplicity and satisfaction a well-prepared bowl of pasta can bring. This restaurant captures that essence perfectly, delivering happiness in every bite. Their various flavors are an absolute delight, with my all-time favorite being the PizzaMac. The more exotic options, such as AlohaMac, Caribbean Mix, and Coconut Shrimp, are just as incredible. Each dish is a perfect harmony of flavors, making for a simple yet profoundly satisfying meal. Highly recommended!

Mac N’ Out is a creative and tantalizing spin on the typical comfort food, Macaroni and Chesse. We both shared a small “festive” skillet which featured chicken, biscuits, gravy and elbow macaroni. The dish was categorized under their “Nutcracker” section of the menu (seasonal). We split a small, since the medium claims it serves 2 people, however we were more than filled with a small. The cost was about $20.00 with a Foxon Park Soda, and the food itself. Overall, the atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyable, service was exceptional, and the food was excellent. We would definitely come back when we are in the area!

AVOID This place like the Plague !!! TERRIBLE DISRESPECTFUL STAFF !!! Pay HIGH PRICES to get DISRESPECTED and Deal with Attitude the staff have ZERO customer service skills. I went to eat here with my fiancé it was about 8:30. I asked if we could eat here because a lot of the chairs were moved away from the tables but some still had chairs at it. The clerk a female was very rude about it told me the dining room was closed at 830pm mind you closing time is 9pm. I asked if we could please sit and eat since we’d be leaving before 9pm. We’ve also ate here around 830pm several times before. She became very rude about it. Zero customer service skills and doesn’t know how to speak to people. I asked if I could speak to the manager she told me to give my phone number so they would reach out. She said those are the rules regarding dining in it seemed like she was making it up so we wouldn’t dine in. Mind you its not posted in store or online that 830pm the dining room is closed. She then said she wouldnt serve us and was on a disrespectful power trip about everything. Terrible attitude. You don’t treat paying customers like this. She wouldnt give her name and threatened to call the cops on us because my fiancé said we should take a picture of this person for our Google review so you avoid this person / place.

First time visiting this restaurant and not very happy with food quality control. We ordered a Mac dog and the grandmas Mac and cheese to go.
On the first scoop we dipped into the Mac and cheese and we found a light color hair on it. We decided to split the hot dog but decided to remove the Mac and cheese on top of it to be safe. However, spending $17 on a hot dog is not worth the money especially in this economy.
Restaurant sitting area looked clean and Customer service was ok but not good enough to return or recommend, especially when there may be hair in our food.

Super chill and laid back Mac n cheese spot that is super kid friendly. It’s a chain like setup but she Mac n cheese. It’s very good. I love the kid size cast iron size that comes with apple slices or fries. It’s great for road trip out stops.

Walking in, the ambiance is great with cheese-coloted walls and July 4 decorations. They have a great imagination with different mixes with macaroni and cheese, including regular Mac and Cheese, if you do not care for mix-ins. The variety is from low key chicken and broccoli to chili mac and Sate Fe. They also have wraps and salads, and a small is definitely filling, noting the size of the order with the number of servings. The service was fast and the food was bubbly hot. It was great and I look forward to my return!

This place is a household favorite of ours. Every single time we order it it’s so good they do offer gluten-free pasta. However, I’m not sure if they are able to make the sauce is gluten-free. I would still ask so many different kinds of macaroni and cheese however, I like the Grandmas the best. There is seating inside if you wish to eat there and they will serve your meal in a steaming, hot cast-iron pan. I usually order to go with extra breadcrumbs on the side. 10 out of 10 you must try this place.
