Colleague and I decided to go outside of our comfort zone and try new dishes. Decide to try some Somalian food and it was actually very tasty and good! We ordered the fired goat with rice, lamb shank with spaghetti, and chicken shawarma cuts with rice. Left satisfied and completely full. The place is a bit worn down but the lady serving us was very friendly and explained the various dishes and gave us the recommendations on what to order. Don’t let the unknown and the insides keep you away. Give it a go.

The owner is so nice and a people person. Their pasta Obama with beef is to die for. It’s also very affordable. The place is too chaotic on the weekends but on the weekdays, it is a good hide away ❤️

Lamb shank was amazing. It’s so flavorful and soft and probably the best I’ve ever had. It comes with a nice big separate plate of rice that is also so good that I can eat it by itself. And also some salad. The owner is very nice and I definitely recommend trying it out.

Food was pretty good, but the service and the prices are a bit sketchy. It seemed way too expensive and the menu has no prices on it. Service was super slow as well.

Nice place for comfort food. We ordered chicken tikkah and chicken shawarma, both were tasty and served with rice. Portions are huge and prices are optimal. Menu is quite encrypted as it does not have the prices stated.

My family and I went there a good 30 minutes before closing (8:30) and it’s SUPPOSED to be closed at 9pm. We hadn’t eaten anything all day, cause we’re travelling and we were really looking forward to a nice Somalian dinner (my first time). We drove more than 30 minutes only for the worker at the front to tell us (he was like mumbling) “oh no, we close, no food, thirty minutes before closing we stop making food for cleaning up”. He clearly seemed like he didn’t want to take a order. Like seriously? Clearly your closing time is 9pm. Why would you turn down customers? Your doors are open, your google hours say you’re open, why turn away customers. I mean, it’s their loss, they just lost a business for easily a $100. Very disappointed. And then he says “oh you can go next door, they’re open”. And next door was, a cafe! It was dinner time. Bad service. This is why sadly, many Muslims don’t succeed in their restaurant businesses cause they don’t do business properly.

A hole in the wall steal!!! It is Somalian food. I had the chicken breakfast with bread. I have no idea what the bread was called. This was my first experience eating African food. I will soon be back!!
