We went last Thursday.(Steak Night) My girlfriend had the 6 oz filet,bake potato,Cole slaw. I had the 20 oz prime rib,baked potato,Cole slaw.with horseradish sauce on the side. Very tender,no knife needed! Food was served hot. And service was awesome. See you soon. Peace to all!

Absolutely fabulous!! You have to try the fresh pork rines!! They are great. Had the 3 meat platter. Everything was delicious!. Best BBQ I have had in a while! My sever was wonderful! Was so much food had to get big go box. Definitely check them out!! Thanks guys!! Great job!!

The service was outstanding. I even witnessed a member of the staff going above and beyond to make sure a customer left extremely satisfied. The food was awesome. The fresh pork rinds were insanely good. The collards on point. The brisket was tender and juicy. The ribs were great flavor wise but had sat in a warmer I assume and dried up just a bit and we’re unfortunately a little over cooked. This happens, they were still very edible and were enjoyable.

The super nice service, the waitress who attended us was always attentive to the table, super friendly and attentive. But let’s talk about food, I’m still speechless. The best but the best barbecue food I have ever eaten in my life. everything but absolutely everything was delicious. You should eat at this place. This is the best thing you’ll ever taste.

I just moved to Bonifay after being in the fine dining restaurant business for 35 years. I just wanted to pick up something and take home. I came in Thursday and had the 8oz filet with a salad and baked potato loaded. It was the special. I did add collard greens and a piece of chocolate cake. Steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, baked potato was piping hot and oh my the collards, yum. Now the chocolate cake is a 13 layer cake and well if you have the guts to bake this then it better be great and let’s just say it was. This will be my new Thursday lineup. Kudos to the staff and all who prepared this meal.

2023 Update: the new location is Clean, well-lit, and much more roomy, but still very down-home. They have fantastic weekly specials (take the kids on Wednesday)! The back porch will be a great option when things warm up a bit more, and theyve done an excellent job with visual styling – you don’t see many places capable of utilizing a hopper for decor, but they got it (lucky ducks), Staff were all very efficient and very friendly without coming across as feeling fake. Their pork rinds are light, not greasy, and fantastic as a base for nachos. The pulled pork had great char, and was very flavorful without being greasy. Their plates are not stingy by amount, and it’s all totally worth the moderate pricing for what you get! We will definitely be back.

Traveling through from Missouri with 14 peeps and found a random place to stop and eat. The food is amazing, great prices and the staff was so kind! Hannah waited on us and a Hayley seated us. Both exceptionally kind! Not a single dissatisfied one of us! Definitely recommend!

We chose to eat here tonight based on all the positive google reviews we read. I feel like we are pretty easy to please and I love to support family owned local restaurants instead of a chain when we travel. The food here was just not good at all. There were 9 people in our party. We got 2 sampler appetizer platters and those were okay. The fried pickles were actually really good. I ordered a 3 meat platter with ribs, pulled pork and brisket. There was a $4 up charge for ribs and &3 up charge for brisket. My biggest issue was the brisket was 100% NOT brisket. It was a roast. I know what brisket is, the texture and the taste. This was definitely not a brisket. It was a much cheaper roast being passed off as brisket. The pulled pork was so-so and the ribs weren’t great either. The mac and cheese was so mushy and flavorless. One person in our party enjoyed her salad. Another said their burger was good. Our son’s chicken strips were burned. I hate leaving negative reviews but this was just not good and a total waste of money as we left most of the food at the table uneaten. I do have to say that the service was quick and very friendly. I did not complain to anyone. The people were nice and I didn’t want to try anything else. We did get there later, about an hour before closing so I don’t know if that made a difference. I doubt it with the brisket. I feel like that was just deceptive and they were just trying to make more money. I would not recommend trying this place.

Amazing food!! I had the bbq smokehouse burger and my co-worker had the Mac sandwich with Mac & cheese with pulled pork. Best bbq I had in a while.
