As a certified breakfast lover, Lynny’s blew my mind and will forever be at the top of my Austin breakfast list.

My lovely friend Angel was working the trailer location, and I mistakenly went to the diner location at first. The ambiance there was so so cute but I quickly realized my mistake (no Angel) and ordered a Black Rose to-go, which was so light and floral and refreshing.

I made my way to the trailer, perfectly nestled off of East 7th Street and also cutesy to boot. My Angel hooked me up with a Deli Breakfast with Pickle Envy Kraut added and the housemade blueberry compote on the side to dip, which made for the most insane combo of flavors that weren’t too overpowering for breakfast.

I snagged a couple sweet biscuits for road trip snacks (Dana’s Biscuit + Strawberry Matcha) and they were so tasty even multiple days later!

Genuinely the ideal breakfast food served in the most ideal morning setting, what more could you ask for?

Such a great, vibey spot on the east side. The good morning breakfast sandwich was delicious, definitely recommend adding the chipotles. The biscuits are unlike any I’ve ever had; will be thinking of them often! The rose oat milk late was perfect; not too sweet or floral.

There’s an adorable used bookstore right next door that’s also worth checking out.

THE BEST BISCUIT IN AUSTIN! The texture and flavor is unmatched. So soft yet you can still eat it as a sandwich.
I have a biscuit obsession. I am always on the lookout for new places to try a biscuit. Today was my first time here and it will not be my last.
When I found the place on Google, I thought, ok anyone who makes a breakfast sandwich with tomato knows what’s up! That’s what brought me here along with the fact that…there’s biscuits.
We walked up to order and was greeted by a very kind person, who also loves dogs. Nice to me and nice to my dogs, I love that! Anywhere I’m welcome with my dogs is perfect. Thank you for offering them a treat.
When we got our food I was busy enjoying my pancakes first while my hubby ate his breakfast sandwich. I was completely caught off guard when he started saying he liked the biscuit. He NEVER mentions he likes anything! I almost choked I was shocked he said that. We never agree when eating so now I couldn’t wait to try it.
I bit in and it was just like homemade. The biscuit was unbelievable. The whole sandwich was prime perfectness.
I also got the lemonade, that was great! Like a sparkling fruit drink.

So on my way home I got behind a car that had a bumper sticker that said “follow me to Lynny’s” is that not the craziest coincidence!

See you next Sunday!

I didn’t even know it was possible for biscuits to be this good. My favourite was the deli breakfast on the everything biscuits. We also tried the veggie sausage one but I just loved the simplicity of the deli breakfast one.

It’s a little messy with the over easy egg but it’s worth it. The biscuit is rich but light. It’s not dry at all but still has that classic biscuit texture. They are cooked perfectly and you get this amazing crunch with every bite.

There’s plenty of picnic tables to eat at but no washrooms on site.

I will definitely be back!

When first looking at the menu, I was a little skeptical of the idea of a tomato slice on a biscuit sandwich for breakfast. Boy was I misguided – Lynny’s All Day biscuit sandwich was a home run. The biscuits are truly special here and are soft, buttery and sweet. I paired my sandwich with an espresso soda which was amazing light and refreshing. We finished our meal off with some Toaster Pancakes which were in fact crispity and crunchity as they claim. Great spot and will definitely be coming back.

I drove from San Antonio to a pop here. I got the dark chocolate and pecan biscuit. It wasn’t sweet, but buttery and a little salty. Just the right amount of sweet and savory. It ordered a peppermint mocha as their seasonal drink. Again it was nice and balanced. You could taste real peppermint not the artificial stuff at this time of year. It was all made fresh to order. It’s a cute outdoor place with a few other independent businesses in the lot. It’s a cute lot. There’s picnic table s and patio umbrellas for the hot day.

It’s the dreamiest, most welcoming neighborhood diner.

Been here a couple times and everything I’ve gotten tops the previous dish I ordered. And the coffee is always heavenly!

The pancakes I got today were so comforting and nourishing after the big storm.

Highly recommend! Also, the design choices are so energizing.

So happy I found it, definitely a cozy atmosphere and great place to work on a charged up laptop since it’s on a quiet side street and tucked in a bit.

My dog is equally – if not more obsessed 🙂

Ordered online for pickup- the waitress who relayed the order to the kitchen got it wrong and never made our coffees (she was busy chatting) We ordered a Ham Slam and build your own on sourdough with ham.Super disappointing when we got home to discover both were completely different items than we ordered. Thank you to the cook who saved the day and jumped in to make our coffee!

Lynny’s is a great spot to pop in and get a freshly prepared breakfast and a coffee. The biscuit sandwiches are excellent in a wide variety of ways. This place is consistent and cute and the staff are always friendly and welcoming of everyone and pups. If you’re in Govalle, don’t sleep on this little gem.
