First time stopping in Louisiana driving through on a 26 hour road trip and didn’t want fast food. I’m so happy this popped up as a recommendation on Google maps while driving. This place is located right across the sheriff’s station at a little establishment with friendly people. Vietnamese owned. Yolanda, the friendly personality up front, provided the cookies and omg… Delic!
I ordered the chicken wings and shrimp fried rice and added a catfish to go with it. It lasted me two meals and wow, perfect seasoning and crispiness to perfection. My visit had me a ‘clean’ tasting deep fried experience as in not using oils well past its usefulness. Yum!

Lynn’s is not like it used to be. I wasted my money today. It was so bad I couldn’t even force myself to eat it. I ordered the popcorn shrimp & fish. idk either the grease or the flour taste old. It didn’t have any season flavor which is why I use to love them but I don’t think I’ll be returning. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

I got the porkchop dinner, for $11, which is expensive but I wanted to try it. They were greasy but the meat was seasoned nicely, I really enjoyed them. The rice wasn’t flavorful at all and tasted like they threw frozen veggies in it. I probably won’t go back at those prices.

Ordered the fried porkchops with rice/beans. The porkchops were out of this world. Wonderful crispy texture, seasoned just right all the way through. The beans were so delicious. Just the right amount of broth. Totally worth every penny. The lady at the register was awesome. Totally to the point and knew what’s up. Gonna return here next time I am in town.
