Absolutely wonderful experience!! The staff was so accommodating! We were in Flatwoods kindda late and happened upon Luzaders by chance. We were STARVING lol The staff were so friendly and even stayed open late so we could finish our meal. We loved our waitress (Kassie) and the food was amazing! We’ll definitely be back! If you find yourself in Flatwoods we recommend you stop in and try Luzaders!

We (group of 3) went in about an hour before the diner closed. We all ordered the same dinner except for our second side. The atmosphere was…odd but we contributed it to them preparing for a private event. When our food was brought to us no one’s plate looked the same. The worst plate had liquid just filling the plate and half the meat serving was fat. One had minimal Gravy and the pot roast was dry. But those mashed potatoes are so good. The server that helped us didn’t return to the table to check on us. We had to flag down the lady cleaning tables for refills. They did take the one meal off the check, which was appreciated.

Drove several miles off the interstate for dinner to this restaurant and the food was excellent! If you need a ‘home cooked’ style meal, this is your place. The roast beef was tender and very tasty, nice creamy mashed potatoes and my wife raved over the burger. Take a break from interstate food and treat yourself to a relaxed atmosphere and great meal.

2 Canadian senior ladies driving home from MBeach…through Sutton/Flatwoods had an early dinner craving. Read the reviews, and decided to try. Was pleasantly surprised: while not busy, we were greeted promptly, served our drinks quickly – and made to feel right at home. They even split one dinner into two portions per our requests including extra Texas toast, and hush puppies – and serving the meal on two separate plates. They couldn’t have been nicer – and the prices and food quality was VERY good. Would highly recommend rather than all the fast food joints in town! Stars to our server – she was bubbly and efficient…. Good experience
