tried the place at a private lunch event, everything was special, the food layout and taste was top-notch, very special, very classic Cantonese dishes. Truly fine-dining. The lady owner Penny, she is gorgeous, warm and genuine, I had a special time.

Ordered cashew chicken with extra vegetables. The menu does not say what the vegetables are. I didn’t realize that zucchini and celery are Chinese vegetables. The meal had no cashews and was mostly zucchini. The flavor was good but I really was looking for more than sautéed zucchini.

We stopped here before a gymnastics meet at Wheaton Warrenville and the food was amazing. The Egg Rolls were in the top two I have ever had and I’ve had a lot. the sweet and sour chicken was light and crisp and we kept saying everything tasted fresh. The fried rice was clearly made from scratch and had generous amounts of chicken and egg. We would certainly come back. The heat was not working very well so we would recommend wearing warm clothes if it is cold out but the server was very friendly and the food was amazing.

As a Chinese-American, I’m not always trusting of sushi / Chinese combination restaurants, but Lu’s definitely hits the spot!
I came with my family and we ordered the crispy beef, orange chicken, teriyaki salmon, sushi roll, Taiwanese beef noodle soup, and smoothies for the table. There are a mix of authentic and Americanized options available so worth asking if you’re not sure – I believe the chef is Taiwanese so they get some credibility there.
Standouts were the beef noodle soup (super tender beef and good taste – comparable to what you can find at the Chinese Cafe in Westmont) and the crispy beef, which has a similar flavor profile to the orange chicken but, as the name suggests, is a bit more crispy. I believe their sushi chef came also came from Tao in Chicago which reflects in the quality of the rolls.
Service was excellent and it’s a nice ambiance. I’m told they have musicians on certain weekend nights which draw a big audience. Hopefully it catches on more with the Naperville Chinese community, there’s definitely good eats to be had!

I’m at a lost for words on how to describe how incredibly delicious the food is. I selected the Beef Broccoli dish while my wife selected the Crab Rangoon along with side of Pot Stickers. My dish is simply perfection. The beef is succulent, carrots and broccoli were fresh and crisp; currently finishing this dish while reviewing. My wife was pleasantly pleased with the crab rangoon. The pot stickers is great with the dipping sauce. Looking forward to dine in in the future. We are combing over the menu in anticipation. Do yourself a favor and stop in!

I took my family to celebrate my son’s birthday at Lu. We had such good time here. We ordered the Dragon Rainbow, Pink Lady, Sushi Deluxe. Spicy Beef bowl, Lu’s noodle soup, MaPo ToFu… everything is fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the food and the Jazz music. And the service is great. We will definitely come back.

The food was good. The spring rolls were excellent. We spent about $80 on dinner for two. We got Kung Pao Chicken, Double Delight, Hunan Beef, Hot and Sour Soup and food poisoning. We both were queasy and dyspeptic all day today. The only things we both ate were the soup, the rice and the Hunan Beef, one of those had to be the culprit. Too bad, because most of it was delicious. Maybe we’ll try it again, but not for awhile after this.

I recently had a dinner at Lu’s yesterday and it was an exceptional experience. the crab rangoons and sushi impressed me most, both of which were incredibly delicious and well prepared.
it offers some creative dishes that go beyond the traditional offerings, making for an exciting and memorable meal.
Moreover, the service was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure that our dining experience was perfect from start to finish. highly recommend!

Bright and inviting atmosphere. Fast and friendly service, thanks Daniel for taking care of us. Food was fresh and delicious. From appetizer to dinner dishes were timed just right with just the right amount of time between. Only recommendation is add traditional black tea as an option to green tea which was a little weak. Other than that highly recommended this place.
