Ordered 2 lunch specials and they were excellent! Chicken, rice, plantains, and salad. Tasted homemade and the price was good. Definitely recommend for when you want homemade food but don’t feel like cooking. 🙂

What a pleasant surprise. Hidden in a small plaza on Gunn Hwy, this bakery becons with some tasty looking pastry. I came for the cuban test. Always looking for a better cuban sandwich. The cuban was moister than the prototype due to a copious amount of melted cheese. It was pretty good, but not tradional. I can not wait to come one morning, get a cafe con leche and start tasting pastries. Nice to have nearby. Very pleasant people to talk with. Will update regarding coffee and pastries.

Brazilian cheese bread is very good, arepas are good too. Both are gluten free. Be prepared to use English/Spanish translation app if owner isn’t there, customers can help but the women barely understand English. Ordering can be done though.

Ask if a customer wants their cuban toasted. I thought it came pressed and was disappointed. The café con leche and assortment of baked items were delicious. It would be beneficial to have bilingual staff at the register instead of in the back as it would eliminate some awkwardness.
