Jen was the best bartender I’ve had in an extremely long time. Her personality was awesome. She’s just beautiful. (One female to another) Another Jen and Rich happened to stop by and after speaking I found out they were the owners. When I tell you they were so down to earth… it was a pleasure meeting them!! And I’ll definitely be back. They told me about the rock n roll bingo can’t wait!! CAUSE I LOVE ROCK N ROLL!! Anyone local should stop by. Also if you’re visiting definitely plan to stop by there. Tuesday is karaoke, and Rock n Roll Bingo!! Before hand. There’s pool tables, darts, games, sports bar atmosphere with a twist!! And definitely check out the unique details when you sit at the bar. Pretty cool.. adding photos…. 3400 South A1A Daytona Beach Shores!! If I’m not mistaken. Oh by the way… pizza will be coming soon as a neighbor… same owners..my favorite!! Purple Monkey Pizza !!

Newly opened with a refinished atmosphere. Love the lacquered bar with mementos. And karaoke with Glitter Girl Gia is awesome, with an excellent sound system. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you need to go and see for yourself.

This place has missed it on so many levels. They took a great bar and ruined it. There is no reason to come to this place, expensive drinks and no liquor. The atmosphere is as sterile as an operating room, one of the crappiest bars I have ever been to. Good riddance

Great dive bar with pool/billiards and darts. Live music and karaoke on certain days of the week. Some good local beer on tap along with the usual suspects. Bring friends or meet new ones in a fun and inviting atmosphere!

BEST BAR BEACHSIDE IN VO CO for creative mixology & atmosphere at a relatively cheap price for beachside adult playtime… plus pool, darts, cornhole, live music, karaoke, fun games and other monkey business… Just don’t go ape . No fighting allowed. ☮️ Too bananas? Will get you kicked outta the cage!

Upgraded the bar across from me. Owners are super down to earth and cool. All they want is a local place for people to hang out and have a good time. The bartender Jen took care of us like we were locals and have been coming for years. We visit once and year and now we will definitely return. Nice place. Way better than the place before.

Monkey Business is a new favorite spot to play Rock-n-Roll Bingo and karaoke on Tuesday nights, karaoke every other week on Wednesdays, karaoke on Thursday nights, other nights are live music and other events. The owners are wonderful! Stop by and have a drink or two.

As locals who are always looking for a new spot to support and potentially become regulars multiple nights a week, we were really hoping Shrunk or Monkey Business would be a great find. Unfortunately, we left extremely disappointed.
When we arrived, the bartender stared at us for several minutes without greeting or acknowledging us. It was actually the barback who eventually came over to help. Even after that, the bartender and other staff would occasionally glance at us but never made any real effort to be welcoming. It made for a really uncomfortable atmosphere.
The one bright spot of the night was the musician playing — he was incredibly talented and honestly the only reason we stayed as long as we did.
That said, if you’re going to have a local bar staff, it would help to have people who actually want to create a welcoming environment, especially for new faces. The staff spent more time glued to their phones than engaging with the guests. We even saw another couple leave — same reason: great music, terrible service.
We wanted to love this place, but sadly, we won’t be back. We hope management considers hiring staff who are excited to bring people in, not push them away.
