I ordered a super steak burrito in person for take out. Salsa was provided on the side. Overall, a good burrito. Nothing stood out too much. Chips were provided. Staff gave me 2-3 containers of salsa which was nice. No frills spot.
Huge downside is the parking in the area. The lot is small out front, and street parking blocks your view coming out, so please be careful coming out of the lot.
This taqueria has an assortment of standard taqueria offerings including burritos, tacos, free chips and salsa, and others. They serve beer but no liquor. There is amble indoor seating but no outdoor seating. Food was good but seasonings for meat could be improved a bit. The homemade tortillas were a wonderful surprise and they were very good.
I recommend this place if you’re hungry and aren’t too concerned with vibe or food that will blow your mind. This is a good place to fill up at a good price.
A bowl of menudo is priced way higher than any restaurant I’ve been to.
You’re charge extra for homony.
The menudo arrived luke warm.
The tortillas were wet.
Guess they steam the tortillas instead of toasting them.
Still, they were wet, soggy,damp.
I was hungry, but could not finish my meal because the menudo and pig’s foot just got cold.
As for the ambiance?
Music was way too loud for such a small dinning area.
The television competing with their music didn’t help
It’s cacophony of annoyingly loud noise.
The atmosphere reminded me of a seagull rookery.
And, the restaurant was cool.
Too cool.
Almost cold.
The environment feels like every other mexican restaurant in the Bay Area but the only one I’ve been to in Santa Clara area, but has quite ample seating.
We got the wet burrito half and half and enchiladas, which were pretty good.
They also give complementary chips and salsa but be careful cuz the salsa is pretty spicy.
Parking is limited cuz the businesses next door has assigned parking spots
