We recently discovered Lupita’s Taqueria. The kids also love it. They have a good selection of Mexican bread and some Coffee Canela. I tried the Canela for the first time and it was not bad…

They have a bit of everything. Tortillas are great. I got the chile relleno plate with an extra chile thinking they’d be smaller but they actually pretty big.

We used to enjoy coming here, but lately once the older woman who usually takes care of the place stopped coming in as much the service dropped quite a bit. Also- and this is something very personal, they started playing FOX NEWS nonstop above their dessert counter. As a Hispanic I find it a bit insulting to the main clientele and I also don’t want to see propaganda and misinformation when I eat. Please lose the FOX NEWS and put on something non- political- literally anything. Until that happens we won’t be back.

I ordered the Nacho Fries for delivery last night. The fries were overcooked, no seasoning (no salt), and cold, making them inedible. 2 stars because the toppings were good. I ended up just making a burrito at home with them and throwing the fries away. I really wanted to like this place.

Decided to try out Lupita’s since I moved to the area…in search for the best steak burrito.

I ordered a super steak burrito in person for take out. Salsa was provided on the side. Overall, a good burrito. Nothing stood out too much. Chips were provided. Staff gave me 2-3 containers of salsa which was nice. No frills spot.

Huge downside is the parking in the area. The lot is small out front, and street parking blocks your view coming out, so please be careful coming out of the lot.

Nice little Taqueria hidden in a small outdoor strip. It’s a no frills but decent place to stop for a meal. It’s conveniently located on a main road but parking can be challenging occasionally.

This taqueria has an assortment of standard taqueria offerings including burritos, tacos, free chips and salsa, and others. They serve beer but no liquor. There is amble indoor seating but no outdoor seating. Food was good but seasonings for meat could be improved a bit. The homemade tortillas were a wonderful surprise and they were very good.

I recommend this place if you’re hungry and aren’t too concerned with vibe or food that will blow your mind. This is a good place to fill up at a good price.

This place isn’t worth a return visit.

A bowl of menudo is priced way higher than any restaurant I’ve been to.
You’re charge extra for homony.
The menudo arrived luke warm.
The tortillas were wet.
Guess they steam the tortillas instead of toasting them.
Still, they were wet, soggy,damp.
I was hungry, but could not finish my meal because the menudo and pig’s foot just got cold.

As for the ambiance?
Music was way too loud for such a small dinning area.
The television competing with their music didn’t help
It’s cacophony of annoyingly loud noise.
The atmosphere reminded me of a seagull rookery.
And, the restaurant was cool.
Too cool.
Almost cold.

We came in 30 mins before closing. Ordered Super Burritos and meal plates. They got my order wrong but because it’s almost closing and I’m starving I just took and eat the wrong order. Although the other server offered to make my order right in. 3 mins. I would say the food taste is ordinary or I guess I just don’t like the carnitas it was dry. They started cleaning/mopping up while we are eating so it’s smells pinesol everywhere. Definitely place is clean.

First-time customer. Service was fast and friendly! The restaurant was clean, and there was plenty of seating. They had a large variety of food to close from, so basically, every from tacos to enchiladas, burritos, and they even had desserts! They also had agua Fresca. The Mexican corn bowl was delicious. The birra tacos were big and delicious. Rice and beans tasty. Will be back.

Lupita’s Taqueria is a small mexican hole in the wall, located across the street from Target.

The environment feels like every other mexican restaurant in the Bay Area but the only one I’ve been to in Santa Clara area, but has quite ample seating.

We got the wet burrito half and half and enchiladas, which were pretty good.

They also give complementary chips and salsa but be careful cuz the salsa is pretty spicy.

Parking is limited cuz the businesses next door has assigned parking spots
