Excellent experience, excellent food. Celebrating a friend’s birthday. I had the Enchiladas Tomatillo with refried beans and Mexican Rice and Chile Torreados.
Everything was delicious and satisfying.
All of the staff were wonderful and everything arrived at the table perfect, hot, flavorful and it all looked as good as it tasted.
Our drinks were always refilled without having to ask.
The food came out promptly and correct.
The atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant to dine in. The temperature was perfect to relax in and was indusive for good company and great conversations.
I certainly recommend this Lupe’s Mexican Restaurant to everyone.

After visiting this restaurant, it’s hard to understand the reason behind some of the negative reviews, as our experience was nothing but positive. The staff is attentive and friendly, while the dishes are flavorful and well-seasoned. It’s definitely worth a visit.

Service was okay at the beginning but declined throughout our meal. Food was good, simple and a good price. The atmosphere was lacking a little flavor, the inside walls were painted in such a way you could see the initial outline of the art they were painting over and that was about it. Being so new, it lacked a good atmosphere. Maybe adding some plants and greenery will help liven the space up.

Our first visit, the food was a little over salted. The queso was bland just cheese out of a can (Sam’s). The spanish music was a little loud, however the wait staf was very kind and attentive.

Welcome to the neighborhood. Lupes is a great addition to the community.
The good-The food is outstanding. Really good. Chicken is tender and flavored well. Our party’s other entrees were good.
The house margaritas are very, very good. Well balanced. The watermelon margarita was fresh and light.
Most of our party liked the thicker chips (I prefer thin) and salsa.
The meh-we did ask a server what the Lupe’s sauce is and the answer was “I’m not sure. It has tomatoes.” Service was chaotic but the restaurant has only been open a few weeks so I’m sure they’ll get the kinks worked out. One entree was supposed to have tortillas. We had to ask and it took more than 20 mins to get them. But when they arrived, they were hot and fresh and very good. Worth the wait. Another entree was missing the beans. We didn’t ask for them bc it was taking so long for everything. The chicken tacos barely had any chicken but it was yummy.
Drinks took more than 15mins to arrive.
Skip the grilled pineapple margarita. It isn’t like the watermelon which was refreshing. Pineapple tasted synthetic and fake and syrupy. Now we know. No biggie.
The restaurant is one large room a it’s loud. Nothing to absorb the sound. But there is an outside area which will be great when it cools off a little.
The bar is a nice size and will be busy.
To be fair, this is a new restaurant and it was a busy Wednesday evening. Waitstaff were all professional and really doing their best. The kinks will work out.

I just wanted to share how thrilled I am about the opening of Lupe’s Mexican Cafe in Fulshear! I had the pleasure of dining here today and the entire experience was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious, the drinks were superb, and the service was impeccable.
A huge thank you to Edith and Fernando for making our visit so memorable. We truly enjoyed discovering this new gem in the Fulshear neighborhood and can’t wait to come back.

Fabian was an amazing waiter. The beef fajitas were nice and tender, the food was out FAST, the top shelf margarita is good – their queso can use some veggies. We added pico and it was instantly better.

We have been a few different times now and has been very pleased! May I recommend the tacos al carbon. The service has been consistently fast and the atmosphere is great. Nice and clean and spacious. So glad to have this nearby!
