The place is really nice. The did seat us right away, they did take a long time to bring out the food. That was not the issue. The issue was first they brought out the wrong side for the pancakes. Then the tacos we got were wrong. So they took them back and took longer to bring out the correct order.they did apologize and didn’t charge us for it. If they are taking that long to bring the food they should be careful to bring the correct plate out. I did love the pancakes and that’s why it gets 3 stars.

Food is awesome here. I had virgin pinacolda non alcoholic and I lived it. The best taco I ever had was spicy chicken taco and it is from this restaurant. They have given us complimentary nachos and different sauces like spicy, tomato and avocado. “””If you order black beans it includes pork in it”””. The ambience is okay okay. Every time I come to Houston I try to visit here! I have had my fair share of Mexican restaurants in Houston and this is by far my favourite. The tortillas are excellent and the steak marinade for the fajitas is second to none.

Delicious Birria Nachos. Salsa was great which is important to me. We were first sat under the wall AC unit and they very kindly moved us to a table outside. Well staffed, which is nice in these times. Would recommend.

I went out on a limb and ordered the barbacoa tacos, I personally wasn’t a fan of the barbacoa. I love that meat and usually love it from everywhere. To me, it wasn’t traditional barbacoa and didn’t care for whatever they put in the meat for flavor. So I gave the food a 4 star. Everything else I have gotten there has been great! Strawberry margaritas are amazing as well. We let them know a week in advance that we had a party of about 15 coming, and they said we don’t take reservations, but we will put your name down. We still had to wait just a little over 30 minutes for them to get a table ready for us. They weren’t slammed or anything when we arrived at all either, I asked for refried beans on my tacos and got borracho beans put on them and I also asked for refried beans on my plate and got borracho beans. People make mistakes. I get it, so it wasn’t a deal breaker just wasnt what i ordered/wanted. I just try my best to leave honest reviews.

A tall, black dude was really snarky to me when I called from curbside to tell them the waitress forgot to bring my drink order with my meal. I wasn’t even bothered by it. I couldn’t have cared less. I just wanted the drink I ordered. He made a comment about driving to my house to bring it to me. What? It was unprofessional and rude. Maybe they expected me to go in. I thought we could use the curbside since it’s there.

The food was good, the service was good. Our seats in the bar area were in direct sun from a window where the shade had been broken. Our server told us that there had been several complaints, but the owners didn’t want to spend the money to replace them. We would have stayed and drank more, but we were so hot, and the Sun was directly in our eyes. I highly recommend replacing those blinds.

What can I say? This place NEVER disappoints. From the Chips and two distinct dips- salsa and bean, to the very satisfying drinks, to the spot on hit the spit just plain ole good food. All of this at very reasonable prices. Oh and the service was attentive and very responsive. I will always have this place on my list of restaurants to never be disappointed.
