I’m only giving this 1 star because of today, I got the chicken strip basket, which I always get, and the taste of fish from the fryers hasn’t left my taste buds, it’s awful! It was so over powering, I was so upset because besides this, everything I get from this place is absolutely wonderful and I go here ALOT. They should fry their fish in a absolute different fryer because the taste on the chicken and fries from it was disgusting and some people are allergic to shellfish, so that shouldn’t be allowed anyway

Drove here after reading an article about the amazing cinnamon rolls and baked goods, get there and they no longer serve any bakery items. The other food maybe good, didn’t stick around to try but just be warned… this is a counter service deli, not a restaurant or bakery.

A country store in the middle of suburbia. Great and delicious fish sandwich with a generous portion. All their food is homemade a d delicious. Friendly and courteous owner and staff. Worth the trip to stop, say hi and eat. They even have some of the patrons bring their antique cars and park them out front.

I bought lunch at lumpy’s last week. It was Friday so I had their fried fish which was absolutely delectable. Lumpy’s is a small version of the cracker barrel. The food is homemade, and the inside is decorated much like the cracker barrel. The people who work there are very helpful and friendly the people who go there are nice. They have outside seating as well. The only thing they’re missing is music outside music. LOL

No matter what I order they NEVER disappoint. Everything is simply delicious. Their portions are more than generous and their prices are equally reasonable. Their food is so fresh. I am happy to have bought a home a block away and plan to be a frequent customer. I highly recommend you stop by someday and give them a try!!!!!

First visit there, and I stopped at the end of their workday. Bought the last 3-cheese roll and two scones for less than $6. The roll was loaded with cheese, and the scones were the best I ever tasted. They make their baked goods from scratch. The price is right and the baked goods delicious.
