his place absolutely exceeded my expectations. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care — everything tasted homemade and comforting without being heavy. The portions were generous, the coffee was solid, and the service was genuinely friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for a relaxed breakfast, whether you’re catching up with someone or just treating yourself. You can tell they really care about quality and consistency here. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to anyone looking for a great breakfast.

I came here a few months ago when I was in town visiting and had to come back today for the Breakfast Poutine. Although it’s listed as a “shareable,” it’s perfect for one person. The hazelnut iced latte was also phenomenal. Parking sucks but it’s worth it for this spot!

First time visitor to Lulu B’s situated just as you get off the interstate and come into downtown Omaha / Old Market.
Parking is a bit tricky. We found a paid meter in the lot located behind Lulu B’s.
Brunch on a Saturday is busy, waiting times vary, but expect to wait for outside and inside dining.
We were sat in the back area where there were large parties of families – screaming children, so our noise level experience is a bit jaded. Servers had their hands full with the larger parties – service was subpar.
Our #1 rule for a good tip and recommendation is to always have our cups/glasses full glass of water, or beverage, especially if there is no food provided or food just served. We were asked if we wanted a refill after our plates had been removed. We sat through waiting, brunch and getting our ticket with empty glasses. A lot of servers walking around doing nothing…
Food was good. Nothing over the top, hashbrowns not crispy as we would like when we asked – good flavor. We’d come back and try again maybe in the fall or winter when not as many people out and about.
Recommend: Yes, we plan to try again.

This place is great if you have a larger group and don’t care about the quality of the experience. The food is boring, the server was barely around, and the space, while ok atmosphere-wise, was quite dingy. All in all, a mid but acceptable brunch. Oh and suggested additional tips are an absurd concept.

We stopped here for breakfast before traveling home. I will say the bad reviews about food wait times are correct. We did wait 40ish minutes for our food. However! When it came we were so blown away it erased any hard feelings about our wait. Our table ordered the Huevos Rancheros, Meggsican omelet, strawberry French toast, Chicken dippers, and onion rings. We all tried everything and we all thought it was all phenomenal!! SO GOOD. Id suggest coming for some mimosas and conversation to pass the time. The wait is worth it.

I was visiting Omaha, and this place was recommended by locals for a breakfast option. The service was good and my waiter was friendly. The coffee had a good aroma and was a great drip coffee, but I wasn’t offered any sugar, just creamer, and no sugar was on the table. My water came to me with a straw already in it. I would have preferred a covered straw to place in my own glass. I ordered a Bloody Mary, which was presented nicely, but the taste was bland. I’ve purchased a mix in the store with more flavor. My food was served hot, but I was not impressed as it lacked flavor. My toast was burnt too. Overall, it’s a decent place, but the food ranks with a Cracker Barrel for me. Needles to say, I was disappointed.
