BEST PIZZA IN BROOKLYN
And now, the next generation is already stepping up—Giovanni’s young son, Luigi, loves helping out around the pizzeria, learning the craft one pizza at a time.

Visited three times in last 5 days. Reasonable price and nice pizza near Pratt. Margherita, cheese, and peperoni were more delicious.
Probably will visit again in few days

Luigi’s pizzeria left a mark on me and next time I’m in NYC I know where I’ll go for a nice slice of pizza.
Perfect amount of cheese on top, plus the tomato sauce feels so fresh and of course the pizza is extra crunchy but not burned at all..I don’t know how they do it but they do it!
First one is only cheese pizza with ricotta, second is almost like margarita but i think it’s extra tomato..I’m not sure but they are both truly amazing! I took one extra photo at home haha with better view.

I was truly disgusted with the service at this pizzeria, my mother came to this pizzeria the other day to get a slice the pizza was good so she decided today to grab a half cheese/pepperoni pie from them. They didn’t show her the pie. Instead, just put it in the box & she went home, trusting that it would be the same quality as the other day. Unfortunately once she got home the bottom of the pizza was very burnt & the crust was hard, We called the restaurant to let them know because obviously that is not alright & they were so rude over the phone saying it isn’t that serious some people prefer it burnt the best she could do was offer a ” free slice” next time after she just purchased a pie which was $21. I then spoke to them to let them know I’m over hearing this extremely rude conversation & a free slice can’t do, we can’t even enjoy the food. I offered to leave my home once more to bring it back… once we got there the lady continued to be rude say ” it’s not that bad” & ” not come back again “! me & my elderly mom was baffled to tell a customer not to come again because you burnt the pizza. I let the lady know I will be writing a review she said “that’s good for me” I never felt so disrespect & she just continued to keep laughing & grinning after. It’s about the principal & always respect the customer. One thing she is right about me or anyone I know will be back at this pizzeria.

The tomato slice was one of the best!! Seems to be a super popular neighborhood spot, a few people in front of us but they went quickly. All of the slices were yummy but the tomato slice and the white slice will have me coming back all the time!!

Really good new york pizza. There was a long line at this little hole in the wall. They were working so fast back there. We had ordered 4 pizzas for 10 prople. Turned out to be way too much pizza but it was so good. They sell by the slice as well. If you’re in the area you’ve got to pick up a slice.

I ordered two large pizzas for delivery for a small get together with family. I used the “Slice” app for the order. I was impressed by quickly the order arrived after submitting it. I received the order in about 15 minutes but that was actually the problem. The pizzas arrived as messy soups. Pizza needs to cool down and set before it should be delivered. The pizzas were too hot when they were taken out to be delivered. The delivery person did not explain what happened but he mentioned something about a “belt” on his bike (?). He apologized but I was very disappointed considering I love getting slices from Luigi’s in my way home from work. I’ve never been disappointed with slices to go. I was embarrassed to serve the pizzas to my family.
I did receive a partial refund from Slice, but I will not be ordering delivery from Luigi’s again. Stick with slices from the shop and avoid delivery.

The first time we had Luigi’s pizza was Thursday of this week. So, we decided to order a pie today. The place does not look like much. It’s a small take-out-only pizzeria.
They have a concrete planter you can sit on and two stand-up tables.
Words could not suffice how great their pizzas were. You would have to experience it yourself.

Lugis’s Pizzeria is a small neighborhood pizza joint in Clinton Hill. no interior just an order window and a few standup tables outside to eat at. there are a variety of topped pies on display as well as pizza condiments on the order counter sill. it’s a quiet stretch of DeKalb and this pizzeria is very much a place that exists because of locals. the hours seem limited, though—opens late in the day and closes fairly early.
the pizza? good to very good. this is where you will always get a consistent classic NYC slice. thin crust, slight crunch; nice sauce with a dab of sweetness; and thin melty blanket of cheese. the plain slice’s flavors come together nicely and satisfy cravings for pizza. plain cheese pizza slice is $2.75 + tax + tip.
service is always friendly.

Get the margherita slice — the cheese tastes so fresh and the crust is so thin and crunchy. A perfect comfort food

My friend and I got some slices here while visiting from North Carolina. The pepperoni, white, and cheese pizzas I had were the best I had in the city. Definitely will be back one day!
