I appreciate how clean this restaurant is, and the customer service is both friendly and efficient. Ordering is simple, and the food comes out quickly. There’s a wide variety to choose from, and they even switched out our grill top after we’d been cooking for a while. I also love that they offer both BBQ and sushi.

We’ve been here twice for lunch on Sunday and it’s a solid choice for tasty Korean dishes. We did not try the ayce grill.

Restaurant is well laid out and with comfortable seating.

Food was good. There were 5 side dishes with my tofu soup. It’s not up to California standard but very good for MN standards.

Our server was very nice, polite, and helpful.

Pricing: reasonable considering how all restaurants have had to raise prices.

Definitely will return. If you like Korean (not Americanized) then this is a solid choice.

When walking in, the woman only presented us 2 options. The Korean BBQ for over $50, or all you can eat for over $40. We were confused as it seemed online we were able to just order food like a regular restaurant. We kept asking about just ordering and she kept telling us about the 2 options. It wasn’t until my friend saw a menu and pointed to it that she sat us at a table with the menu. Felt like she was trying to force us into the more expensive options. I ordered the crunchy roll and the bulgogi. I would say they were both good. But I won’t go back for that reason. I felt she understood what we wanted from the start. I’ve done the Korean BBQ at another venue and feel like if I am going out to eat, why would I pay more when I still have to cook it myself? I don’t get that. And I feel like 4 stars is generous.

Omggg worse experience ever, thats what I get for not wanting to drive to my favorite spot soké in Brooklyn park.. “The manager” was not pleasant we my son and I said thank you every time he brought our food and he just walked away strike 1, then the meat looks old as hell and the bill was outrageous.. if the food was good quality and the waiter was pleasant i wouldn’t have a problem with the bill mind you that was just the bbq.. anyway lesson learned and we will not return sokè is the way to go i even recommend KPOT IN MAPLE GROVE. I could have well enjoyed myself at Ruth Chris for that price with great service.. Just ruined my dinner for me and my 7 year old child tonight.. I still cant believe my bill when I saw it.

Upon walking in, a man in the front asks “BBQ or regular?”
I was thrown off a bit but I guess I understood. It was a weird way to greet customers without a warm welcome.
Ordered Kimchi-jjigae, Korean fried chicken wings, Beef Kimbap I think, and Kalbi beef short ribs.

The chicken wings were such a disappointment and definitely not Korean in my experience.
Of all the Korean restaurants I’ve been to that serve chicken wings, thse wings were closer in comparison to cheap Chinese chicken wings. Very dry and over cooked. *Pictures included.

The Kimchi-jjigae was supposed to come with pork but it had zero pork. We had to ask for pork.

The Kalbi did not come out sizzling like it should. The plate was undoubtedly hot but not a sizzling experience. The Kalbi almost tasted as if it was simmered vs seared, which gave it a chewy texture. Flavor 2/5.
Pretty disappointed in my opinion but our server was nice, friendly and quick.

We tried the dinner buffet (not the Korean BBQ) at Dong Hae II Korean Grill and Sushi and everything was delicious. The sushi was fresh, the Korean dishes were great, and I especially liked the tteokbokki and jjigae. It’s a little odd that Bibimbap and fried rice are included but plain white rice costs extra, but overall the food was very good. The owner was super friendly and even gave us free watermelon for dessert. We left feeling satisfied and happy and would definitely come back again.

I really love the sushi rolls here! Definitely think it’s worth it to checkout, except the BBQ. Don’t do that! It’s not worth the money and also our waitress kept coming back to cook all of our BBQ meat when I clearly told her we can handle it. She didn’t listen and continously came back, she burnt the meat and we felt rushed to eat all of them incase they got cold and dried. It was really irritating and spoiled our mood.

The times I’ve dine in and not for BBQ, I’ve had pretty good service. Especially with the bells now, its pretty convenient instead of having to wait for them to come around.

My friend and I ordered 1 short rib, 1 beef, 1 small chicken breast. 2 fried rice, 1 soju and the total came out to $159 plus 18% services. That was shock ???? Because we thought it all you can eat. The most I got charge for 2 people at the bbq all you can eat was around $70. Please do your research before you go eat here. Food was alright but not there. On top of that, they also charge you for container. Sorry but this will be our first and last time here lol

Ordered several items for pick-up. One was a tofu and intestine soup – there was absolutely no intestine. It was basically a seafood soup with tofu and mussels.
Our second entree, sweet and sour chicken, came with NO sweet and sour sauce. To think that the order was prepared and ready for pick-up quickly, that it’d have everything as it should.

It was pretty okay! We were greeted and seated pretty quickly given the late time. Decided on several things to share with my friend. Friend and I enjoyed talking and got consistent refills on our waters. The food was pretty tasty, especially the monkey brains. I’d definitely come back to try some of their other food options!

My only big issues were that my friend and I asked for a split check and were not given one, as well as the fact that I asked for cheese on my tteokbokki and was given plain. Simple miscommunications, however. They did not ruin the experience by any means! Price was higher than expected but not terrible.
