We have ate here before so I thought I’d give another post on tonight’s meal. My wife got the special for this Saturday night which was Penne Ala Vodka with shrimp. I got the Grouper Marsala and both came with a house salad. Was disappointed in her Penne dish. The reason is it barely had shrimp with the up charge of $5.00 and they were small shrimp. My dish was really good as I’ve had it before. The house salads were fresh so that was nice.

So much food! We had enough for the evening and lunches the next day. The service was excellent–friendly, welcoming and helpful. The table next to us was quite boisterous, which made it harder for us to enjoy our own conversation, but maybe the delicious food added to their joy. Anyway, we ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, pasta primavera with alfredo, and pasta primavera with marinara. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Really. So if you’re in the area, find a few folks, take a few hours, order up a few favs and enjoy. You’ll be glad you did!

This place deserves 10 stars. Luigi & Sons delivers quality every time. The environment is family friendly, the staff is great, and the food hits on all cylinders. I got something new this time – Meatball & Sausage Parm. I could only eat half, and I identify as a food addict. If you’re curious about going, it won’t matter what you pick – it’s all good. I will say specifically about this dish, if you don’t like the flavor of green bell peppers, you may not like this one because the flavor is strong in it. But if you’re indifferent, give it a shot and prepare for lots of leftovers. I love this Italian restaurant so much!

We waited so long for food that I literally fell asleep. We had been watching tables around us and hadn’t seen the waitress in ages. Empty beers and plates stacked up. The service here was not great.

As both Italian & Sicilian descent, the food is just like Mama’s home cooking. Excellent food, great/friendly service and a doggie bag that kept reminding me of the culinary experience. The large food portions are part of the heritage!

I can’t express how much this place rocks. Over the past few years of going here, I’ve NEVER had a bad meal. The pasta servings are huge and very good. The marinara sauce is to die for. Servers and waiters are some of the nicest and friendliest I’ve ever met. Plus, their food is actually fresh and not frozen like some other major Italian restaurant chain. This place can sometimes have a wait on Fridays and Saturdays, but never too long. The management cares about the food quality and will fix anything wrong with your order. This is at least a weekly stop for my family and I. Best Italian in rock hill, and best Italian around.

Well if I could give this place no stars I would. The first thing it’s took so long just to get anything. They was taking their slow time. This plate I had was horrible I mean nothing but soup and seasoning at all. I mean for the money you pay it’s really not worth it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The appetizer took forever to come. We got it when we got our food.
