We enjoyed the following:
Pork Wonton Soup (Umami broth, crispy wonton, sesame, chili oil) – spicy and hearty opening, excellent wontons
Crab Rangoon (Snow crab, Tobiko, cream cheese, ginger, scallion, Old Bay) – probably one of the better versions of this dish, the real crab makes a big difference!
Combination Dirty Rice (Shredded peking duck meat, Chinese sausage, white shrimp, persimmon, rouille herbs) – very good overall, great combination of flavors, and just the rice itself was excellent
Crab Lo Mein (Maryland blue crab, leek fondue, shiitake, caramelized whey, kaffir lime) – heavenly dish, so many unique flavors, could have eaten this dish with a spoon. The crab and leek fondue flavors made this next level.
Chongqing Chicken (Sichuan-style marinated chicken, Yunan chili, pickled Fresno chili, Huacatay, peanut rice) – very spicy and flavorful chicken dish, absolutely loved it.
Sticky Spicy Beef (Short rib, Bird’s Eye chili, candied cashews, passion fruit, green papaya, Thai basil, mint) – indulgent, tender and succulent bites of shirt rib, superb flavor.
10/10 meal. Can’t wait to return!
I will definitely be back, this just became my new favorite Chinese place.
Crab Rangoon bite full of cream cheese.
Amazing service
Honestly, the food was good but didn’t live up to the hype. We started with the Short Rib & Bone Marrow Dumplings and Sticky Spicy Beef. Both were good but not amazing. The beef was VERY hot.
For an entree, we spilt the Half Peking Duck. It was very garlicky and didn’t seem to actually be Peking duck. It was tasty though, and I really like the presentation of the accoutrements (rice, lettuce, etc)
All in all, it was good but not amazing. If you are in the area, check it out.
The duck fried rice was rich, a little fatty in the best way, and super satisfying. The cumin lamb noodles had great heat, a strong lamb flavor, and tender, chewy noodles. The shrimp jiaozi were also great, particularly the miso emulsion.
Service was excellent; one of our dishes came out cold and the server fixed it immediately. On the cocktail side, the Elixir of Immortality was my favorite — spicy, sweet, and briny.
Overall, a delicious meal and a place I’d happily come back to.
2026 update – went for lunch and it was pretty great!
