Lucci’s is the only pizza place in my eyes. They have been making my pizza for years and I have never had one that was less than excellent. They make it just like I ask, my order is a little different so they know my name as soon as I start the order. I always order the 14 inch sausage with extra sausage with very very lite sauce and I ask them to please burn my pizza I love mine well well well done. It goes against the way I’m sure they are trained to make the pizza’s however it’s what the customer likes not everyone likes it the same way and these guys are all about customer service and high quality ingredients. That’s why they are the only pizza place for me. Thank you to my pizza dream team you guys are the best.

Great strombolis and solid pizzas.
The posted hours, on Google and on their recorded phone message, are wrong. They both say they’re open until 9pm but they are frequently closed before, or at, 8pm. I was considering ordering something tonight and unfortunately found out they were closed before 7:45pm. Business hours can change, of course. Not updating the relative nodes of information is criminal and unbecoming of the business.
I hope that with this review I can save someone who is unfamiliar with how they’ve operated for the last year or so from being misled into believing that they’d be able to order a Lucci’s stromboli any time after 7:30pm.
In the owner’s reply to this review, I don’t want to see the excuse train. I only want accountability and a change of the two things I mentioned specifically: the correct operation hours of the business for the greater Kent community on Google and the recorded phone message.

My favorite pizza in Ohio. You can’t choose poorly here. If they make it, you want to eat it- trust me! Plus they are kind and helpful and never get an order wrong. You will love it.

If you love anchovies this is the place. I put the white sauce on it instead of red. Pepperoni anchovies then doubled anchovies by putting them again o each half and they delivered. Forever coming here.

It’s a good spot the closest I could come to New York Pizza in Ohio being from Brooklyn NY . It’s really good I just wish they put a little bit more dough at the bottom of the pizza so it’s not so soggy where the cheese is and it would actually hold better but the crust is perfect the flavors are perfect I just wish there was more stability to the slice.

The best part is the pizza box. It’s so sturdy and strong!! Something you’d buy from the UPS shipping store – high quality.
I paid $30 for the large 18″ pizza (yes I tipped you guys). Unfortunately the pizza was undercooked. Please see pictures. The dough was so soggy and soft that the cheese and topping wouldn’t and couldn’t stay on; they slid right off. There’s no such thing as eating a slice with one hand with this one. You either need two hands or a knife and fork. The fork is needed anyways because of the landslide of cheese and toppings as you pick up the slice.
I’ve been to Lucci’s before and have had great experiences. I hope this was just an isolated incident. Nonetheless, it was a poor experience. I didn’t finish the pizza – instead I ordered a $15 large speciality pizza from Papa John’s. It was half the price and twice as cooked.
