I did the Be the Chef experience, my wife surprised me with it, and it was such an amazing time. Chef Randall was absolutely incredible. We met up a few hours before dinner for training, he showed me how to prepare everything properly, walked me through the flow of the experience, and even helped with the jokes. He was incredibly helpful, patient, and kind.
Jillian, the manager, was also fantastic. She helped get everything set up and was very accommodating with our request for an early dinner and a private room.
Jessica, our host and waitress for the evening, was exceptional as well. She took great care of us, made sure our drinks were always full, kept the table clean and tidy, and was very personable throughout the night.
Overall, an awesome experience from start to finish. Love this place and we’ll definitely be back.

Kasey our server was amazing, great smile! Our chef (unfortunately i didn’t catch his name) made sure to explain all the sauces and was very entertaining. Flipping the egg, cracking the egg and finished with a fire performance. The manager Brian was extremely kind to us, especially the birthday girl! They even took a picture for us, printed it and gave each of us one! Thank you for a great experience:)

The WORST customer service! The WORST chef, the WORST wait staff. Dried food! Poor showmanship! Complete waste of money this is the SECOND time I’ve been to this location first time was right after COVID 19. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt about bad service but this time was way worse! Although we were the last table of night, we should’ve been treated any differently than those who were there earlier. We watched multiple chefs at other tables be a lot more interactive with their guests and a lot more skilled with what they were doing with the chef we got literally was terrible mumbling hardly comprehending what he was doing to be honest. Was not happy with the quality at all. We were told 15 minutes when we first got in the lobby. He was more like 30 than once we sat down. We waited another 30 minutes for everything to get started, and there was tons of servers standing around doing nothing people listening to their Apple AirPods, not doing anything I was just horrible overall what a complete waste of money I wouldn’t recommend going to this location. Go give Mount Fuji hibachi business. Never had a poor experience over there and I’ve been there almost once a month since discovering it at Orchard Town Center.

Stopped in for lunch and had such a great experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Jose, our cook, was fantastic not only was everything delicious, but he made the whole experience fun to watch. You can tell he really cares about what he does.
Aldo, our waiter, was just as great. He was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often without being overwhelming. Service like this truly makes a difference.
Overall, it was an excellent lunch, and we’ll definitely be back!

We normally come here for all of our “special occasion” needs. Birthdays, holidays, anniversary, guests from out if town. This wont be the case anymore. Almost a $300 before tip for FATTY, unseasoned food (had to ask for salt multiple times throughout our visit) my steak was fatty. Not just a little here and there. It was chunks of SOLID fat. My son got the rare samari treat ($52) and it was well in some places and VERY rare (raw) in other places. Husband asked for med well and it was again, very well or very raw. Said it was the worst steak hes had from there EVER. My other son was happy with his teriyaki steak. But when did the price go up on regular teriyaki steak? Used to be WAY more reasonable! $41.50 for a small THIN steak? The veggies were not the best. Very much undercooked! Mushrooms (which were forgotten about until he was cleaning up to leave) were basically flash cooked (like 40 seconds of cooking) very disappointed.
I was offered another steak when I asked the waiter if the solid fat chunks were normal and he said they are normally trimmed but offered to make another steak in back in about 20 mins. No. It was freezing once the flattop was turned off and I was not waiting around for any longer than I had to. Will be finding a new place to go for a fun dinner.
I did not get 1 offer to refill my drinks (2 drinks. Tea and dr pepper both empty for the majority of the time there. Was not an issue for the other 3 people (husband and 2 sons who was there to celebrate their 16th brirthday)
We had to engage in conversation with our chef. He was not saying a whole lot until we would ask him questions then it was back to basically mute.
I will say, the rice was good. Under seasoned, but good!
Also the waiting room and bar are FREEZING in cooler temps!!!

From solid 5 stars to a flimsy 1 star for what the cost is, it needs to be top tier in every way, and this visit was not. When you visit a place frequently, Expectations are built based on a pattern of behaviors and routines. For example Benihana is not only food, it is an experience. Service in a certain order. Soup, salad, Rice, vegetable Appetizer, sauces, shrimp appetizer, Entree’s. Any deviation affects experience as well as the chef entertaining the station’s interaction, accuracy and timing. Miso soup and Salad was as it always is, kudos. This particular chef was obviously new and inexperienced. We got the rice 1st, then he cooked the shrimp, then he cooked the steaks, then zuchini, then onions, as he was packing up he evidently found the mushrooms that usually are cooked with the meal and other vegetables and came back and threw on the grill as an after thought. Appetizer ordered, showed up with salad and soup. (Edamame), but was.not salted.drink ordered when we arrived showed up at we were paying. forgot to bring it out or realize it but so did the ordered. Now the food quality was horrible across the board with the exception of the shrimp and chicken. Rockys choice meal steak was flavorless, full of fat ,(see pic) and overcooked, samurai treat , 1 steak was ordered medium rare and came out nearly raw and tasteless. 1 steak was undercooked and flavorless . The teriyaki steak was decently prepared and flavorful. .All of these issues with a $300+ Bill for 4 of us. Very disappointed in Benihańa’s Service. This seems to be a recurring theme recently. Not 100% on employees because chef was 19 years old and inexperienced and it showed. Train your employees, better and I suggest following through with quality control a lot better. Because high prices ultimately demand top shelf service, and customer satisfaction. You have failed to maintain the standards you once had and it shows. Do better before everyone goes to Sakura or Mount Fuji for better quality food and lower prices. DO BETTER BENIHANA. 1st 3 pics show the fat laden strip steak the 4th was the steak with the samurai meal. Unflavored and tough. LET ME ALSO ADD THAT THE ENTERTAINMENT EXPERIENCE CONSISTED OF ROLLING AN EGG DOWN THE SPÀTULA LAID DOWN ON THE GRILL AND A POORLY MADE ONION VOLCANO. NO JOKING, NO INTERACTION WHATSOEVER UNTIL I STARTED ASKSING HIM QUESTIONS ABOUT HIS TENURE, HOW HE LIKED WORKING THERE, ETC. THEN IT WAS SHORT DIRECT ANSWERS. IT WAS LIKE BEING AN INTERROGATOR AND GETTING NO ANSWERS.

We had a fantastic experience at Benihana’s! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and seated at a great table, which set the tone for the night. Our server, Falicity, was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and did an amazing job keeping up with the entire table. Our chef, Josh, was incredible and made the food absolutely amazing. Everything was delicious, and the overall experience was top-notch. Highly recommend!
