I went through drive thru. My food was fresh and hot but the portions were 2 spoon full of green beans and mashed potatoes. I grew up with them and I will always be faithful to the original Luby’s glad that location is still open. Great service and fast.

When I visited the location on Slaughter Ln. I had the Turkey and Dressing plate with macaroni & cheese, mashed potatoes, spinach, and a roll. The Turkey was horrible, my Dressing was still raw, my mashed potatoes had large chunks in it, and my dinner roll was stale. The macaroni and cheese was okay but a little watery, my spinach was delicious. The service and my server were good.

It truly was like stepping back into the good ole’ days and the food was very nostalgic! The food was pretty bland, but nothing a little salt or pepper sauce couldn’t fix. The line ran out of silverware and it took a while to get more yet there were two people at the front talking. One did eventually go help, but that’s the only reason for the 4 stars.

I guess I really love this Luby’s…I’ve been eating here since 1995! Anyway, I came by today to see my old friend, Miss LuAnne Platter, and I must say, she’s looking good these days! I had the turkey and dressing, black-eyed peas, cabbage, macaroni and cheese, jalapeno cornbread, and cheesecake with fresh strawberries. Everything was delicious as always!

Food that warms your belly and staff that has warm smiles. It’s nostalgic, southern comfort food, not fine dining. I saddens me that so many Luby’s have closed and I am so grateful this location still persists. Where will I go when my Thanksgiving in July cravings hit? Please stay open forever!

I absolutely ❤️ Lubys. Whenever I come back home to TEXAS I have to eat here. It has a wide variety of meats vegetables cakes pies drinks and condiments. The servers and wait staff are absolutely amazing
