Family favorite. When my college student came home for Thanksgiving, we drove there from the airport.
We love the comfortable, vintage feel of the restaurant.
Servers are always kind, helpful, and quick to refill drinks.
Food is great. They have crispy, bite sized chicarones that we love. Pinto beans are tasty. Rice can be bland but that’s why there’s salt on the table. The tortillas are fluffy and awesome!

Food was good. The restaurant is clean and the staff was great. Take out order was fulfilled on time and the food was still warm when I got it home.
Will definitely be returning.

Ok it’s been a while but Garcia’s Kitchen on Juan Tabo is probably my favorite restaurant to eat at when I’m home, but all are good. Food is always amazing. It’s delicious and usually not a long wait for your food. I can’t recommend eating here enough. Friendly service and servers. Always refreshing your drink in a timely manner and polite. Greeting you from the door as soon as you walk in. Really a home feel to this place.

Stopped by at this location with wife after hiking knowing how great food at Garcias based on visiting other locations. This place didn’t disappoint. Waitress seemed to be overwhelmed due to staff shortage but handled us very well. Foos was prepared within reasonable time. Ordered Karnitas plate after trying it at other location but for some reason it came out to be way different, still good though. Nicely themed decor. ApplePay accepted

Went to pick up my enchilada tray at 1:00 and the place was disorganized. Did not receive my stuff until 2:15. The manager yelled at me and was talking bad about the kitchen staff to another employees People were confused about were to stand to get there food. Also people who had made call orders . They were not done. I come there to eat a lot. And the food is good . But I will not do this again. Not to have a manager yell at me. Next year I will go some were else. Pluse I did not receive my onions with my enchiladas. I was not going back in to get them .

Very disappointed! The chili relleno was greasy, soggy and beyond disappointing. The rice served with the dish was crunchy to the point of it being inedible. The service was okay. The ambiance was depressing. I loved this place years ago. However, I definitely recommend avoiding it completely now.

Disappointed. I’m from out of town and a local recommended trying Garcia’s for lunch. By the time they brought my tortillas, the food to go IN the tortillas was all cold. They brought flour when I asked for corn and the food was INSANELY bland. Not to mention, I don’t appreciate the vacuum running next to me while I’m having lunch. Disappointed that I wasted one of my few occasions to eat out having such an unfortunate meal. Hot sauce can’t fix this.

How can you not like Garcia’s? The service was really good and the server was available when we needed him. The food came out quickly and exactly how we ordered. It was hot and so tasty. The green Chile stew was delicious and the tres leches was amazing. The prices were also very reasonable.

Edited: A few of my friends recommended this place. I finally gave in to see the hype.
The staff members are nice and service was good. But the Menudo, Greasy Potatoes, Beans and Chili was not so great, maybe it was the no salt and no flavor in the Chili that made it unenjoyable. Even doctoring it up did no justice. However, on a good note we had good service, the Sopapilla was my favorite and there were a lot of Tripe in the Menudo.
