Although our server might have been new, she still did an admirable job given how busy they were. Though my husband noticed multiple times she was just standing waiting for food orders when other tables needed attending (he used to be a server and he’s the one who said “she must be new” and yes. I still tipped the minimum 18% actually with rounding I think i did 20%). That said, for some reason at this location the food was simply PHENOMENAL! Like, I’m used to good or even very good at Garcia’s, but WOW! EVERYTHING on my plate was just perfection. Husband thought it needed more salt, but that’s what salt shakers are for. For me it was heavenly. I will ABSOLUTELY be back!

We had our very first ever visit at Garcia’s today. Unbeknownst to us, they were just about to close. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Callie, who quickly seated us and took our order. The food came quickly and was amazingly delicious , and generously portioned. I’m super impressed with the hamburger patties (not like the wafer thin ones that Blake’s is serving). Those tortillas are pure joy ! I’m so glad we chose to go here today. Thank you for the perfect experience today

There’s a pretty good reason why this establishment has grown over the years and still maintains its excellence when it comes to traditional new Mexican style dishes. The carne adobada burrito, which can be smothered with green and red sauce, and you always feel the Christmas spirit. Cheese melted on top of the perfect mix of red and green will only give you the desire of jumping right into it. Thank you Mike and cooks for keeping the Garcia tradition alive.

Garcia’s has THE best Huevos Rancheros!!! I am from Kansas City but my parents lived in Albuquerque and would take us there for breakfast every time we were in town. Over easy, corn tortillas and green chilies and you can’t go wrong! Everything I have had there has been fantastic. The employees were always very nice and took care of us with no issues. This is just one of those type places that you look back on and have nothing but great memories of! Wish I could get in there way more often than I do. Keep up the amazing work. Make it a point to stop in here, you will absolutely thank me, guaranteed!
