I will drive out of my way to go to this place whenever I’m within a days drive!!! Excellent baked beans… wow!! Spicy Corn bread muffins with honey butter… wow!!! Meat was amazingly tender and delicious. Mac and cheese was ok but will order a different side next time. CAN’T WAIT TO RETURN. Service is kind of self serve but people were friendly and helpful. The person recommending this place said “The food is bomb!” He was CORRECT. Thanks for a great meal. See you again soon

All I can say is OMG… this is the best food I have had in a VERY VERY long time… The southern style corn bread with Honey butter, was a taste of back home in the Sierra Nevada mountains; The pork tenderloin was amazing, and the brisket fell apart with flavor. the serving sizes is enough to feed to fat men at once. The service from cory was amazing as well, fast and professional. The owner came to check on us… and I kept waiting to hear that all-too-familiar Rodeo horn from the days of my youth… and back in the hills. I will definately be going back…

Do not expect traditional southern BBQ. Most of the food was spicy even the coleslaw. The sweet tea was instant tea. The meat was barely warm and the bbq sauce is also cold. They do give you a lot of Tri tip, however.

I have been to 44 of the lower 48. And having the best BBQ each area had to offer. Imagine my surprise to find a place just a mile away from home that beats them all. Service is top notch. Welcoming service, owner often greets me. Just a great home town business with the best BBQ in the US.

Shared the three meat platter with my husband – we did NOT walk away hungry or disappointed! The three meats were: 1. Beef ribs where the meat fell off the bone and tasted amazing 2. Tri-Tip done to perfection and our favorite selection and oh those pickled onions and 3. Burnt ends that were a little too sweet for our taste but still gone when we were done. Our three sides were the mac in cheese – YUM! the baked beans – also YUM! and the garlic Parmesan fries – good but not like the first two sides. Order at the cash register and they bring the food to you. A great addition to the brewery.

Oh happy days!! I love going out to eat and I’m constantly disappointed in humboldt county with the service and portions but the low smoked meats and sides at low & slow have my attention & speaking of attention the staff have been friendly and helpful every time I’m there I give them an A+ for making me feel excited about my order. Btw the specials the cook is putting out is always . Thanks you guys.

This was the first try for a meal at Low ‘n Slow BBQ and we were not expecting the amazing meal we had. The Burnt Ends were delicious and the Ribs were near perfection. We taste the Mac n cheese, baked beans, an both flavors of corn muffin. We did not go away disappointed. Left with lunch for the next day. Highly recommended for locals and visitors.
