Lovejoy Bakers is an absolute treat of a place to go to when you’re in the Pearl area! I loved the vibe, the seating options both inside and outside, and the location is perfect for a chill morning with a sandwich and some coffee. The food options are higher quality and more plentiful than what you’ll find at other bakery’s.

It’s too bad the food is not as good as the service. I was generally disappointed with everything besides the brownie. We ordered a smashed chickpea sandwich, tuna melt, croissant, and a brownie.

Ok! Some great stuff, some OK. I’m pretty sure the almond croissant is just puff pastry turned in half with almond paste in the center VS a twice baked croissant. Vegan loaf was excellent, biscuit was Ok. Coffee was awesome.
