Pennellope built up a reputation behind the espresso machine for many years in Moab. She had a hunger to start her own spot someday. Wes wrenched on bikes for many years in Moab longing for a great breakfast burrito. The two took the leap in 2008 and opened up the Love Muffin Cafe to satisfy their love for food and to bring great housemade food to Moab. Keepin’ it real. We have always had one goal and that is to keep everything made in house with as much local produce and product that we possibly can. Scratchin it out daily is our motto.

This cafe with an espresso bar features a breakfast & lunch menu with burritos, panini & sandwiches.

Amazing! So glad we stopped here. My only regret is we had already bought our coffee somewhere else and didn’t get to try it here. Loved all of the food, especially hit the spot after our early morning hike. Great service, very friendly staff!

We went there as a family twice during out stay in Moab, UT. Both times the place was packed and you could tell why… the food and coffee were both excellent and the service was friendly. I will go there again the next time I am in Moab.

Both the coffee and food were delicious, I honestly had a hard time deciding between what to get as they have a wide variety of breakfast options. I went twice and loved it both times, would have gone for a 3rd had it not been on a day they were closed. Will definitely come back the next time I’m in Moab.

Got a blueberry muffin this morning. I was disappointed. I cut the muffin in half and the blueberries were not evenly distributed throughout. If you cut the top off it would have been a plain muffin. The texture of the muffin was nice, but the flavor was also plain. I expected some blueberry flavor and notes of vanilla, but it was just sweetened flour and some metalic taste at the end. My child, who loves all carbs, mentioned he didn’t like it. We took it back with us, so couldn’t say anything. My husband got a cookie as well. Don’t know how that was, cuz it contained some things I can’t eat. I’m betting this was a fluke, because of the many good reviews and beautiful pictures of food.

You ever have a muffin that leaves you feeling like your life just elevated by 1000%? That’s what I experienced after having the most amazing freaking muffin I’d ever had from this adorable little cafe. You’ve gotta try it out if you’re up at the buttcrack of dawn in Moab. But you gotta get there quick! I was there at 7am on Sunday morning and there was already a handful of patrons and people in time.

Got the carnitas breakfast burrito and it was awful. The eggs tasted like they were powdered eggs and the meat was dry. The muffin was extremely dry and tasteless. I can’t speak for the coffee because I didn’t get any. The service was great and it’s a cute place but I’m spending money on the food, not the atmosphere.

Went here twice during our 4 day stay in Moab. Latte was perfection – a great reminder why little cafes beat Starbucks any day. The breakfast burrito and muffins were also super delicious! Highly recommend!!!

This place is so cute! They always use fresh local produce. Everyone loved what they got to eat. I got the bacon breakfast panini and it was probably the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. The egg was so soft and had perfect flavor. The remoulade sauce was amazing and had a nice spice to it. I think most of their food has a little kick so be aware when you go there. Their Matcha lattes are great too!
