My go to box is Shrimp, fish and oysters. Each box comes with fries and bread. The food is always hot, with a hint of heat and delicious!! Thier tarter sauce is some of the best I’ve had! I eat here at least once a week! You won’t be disappointed either!!

I will say first that I respect the mom & pop hustle of it all. As far as everything else, MEH. Nothing about the restaurant is Louisiana themed. No music, nothing. I walked into a super tiny packed restaurant (considering there was only one large group of women and two other smaller couples total), but it took about 15 mins to even order because the “pop” was helping the “mom” with the group orders. He didn’t greet with a smile but wasn’t mean or anything. Just looked overwhelmed. I ordered basic (fried shrimp & oyster box) because I’ve never been here. The fries were barely salted and unevenly fried just a hint past raw. The batter used for the seafood wasn’t seasoned. I could’ve gotten more flavor at Popeyes or something. Idk, a restaurant bragging about bringing Louisiana to Virginia just ended up being a waste of $16 at the end of the day. I’m trying to figure out how this spot has so many high reviews. Maybe from people who have never been to Louisiana…they need to hire help for their lunch hours. I’ll update the review if the food makes me sick later.

It was ok. I am a Louisiana Native and the fish isn’t tilapia and certainly not bass. I think it’s Swai but I can’t prove it. I find it telling that the fish type isnt posted but you have to ask. It’s quite expensive and just ok. I won’t be going out of my way to return. No real side choices without an astronomical upcharge. We tried the Jambalaya and Okra- It’s a no for us

Humble place with very good food! From a delicious fish to a juice fried shrimp with crispy french fries, this place has also a good selection of Louisiana’s favorites. Only missing Shrimp and Grits! Definitely a must go restaurant. By the way, the service is very good and professional! I really loved this restaurant!
