Great place for a meal !
We were in Indianapolis for a week and always like to try the local fare when we travel.
I read about the pork tenderloin sandwich and we found Loughmillers.
We went in around lunch time so it was a little crowded but they were able to seat us.
The bar is cozy and comfortable and the decor is great.
The French onion soup was on point and the pork tenderloin was huge !
The food was fantastic and the service was great even though it was busy.
We were seated by the window and wre even treated to a surprise snow squall while eating !

In town for PRI and wanted a classic burger for dinner. Cool atmosphere (a little in booths acrossfrom the door in winter) , good service. Menu online is outdated. Reuben & fries were good, grilled chicken sandwich was good, the Jam Burger was decent, but the patty tasted like the frozen pre-made that just takes away from the rest of the burger. Fries & chili were also good, Peanut Butter pie was excellent.

This local pub was recommended while in the city and I decided to check it out. I ordered the bacon jam burger, medium, after receiving a glowing recommendation from my server.
Upon arrival, the food appeared well prepared. However when getting into the burger it was lackluster. The burger was overcooked and had zero flavor outside of the condiment I placed on it. The description provided included a red wine reduction sauce covered in smoked Gouda cheese etc. The crinkle fries while cooked well, crisp, were certainly out of a bag.
I also added a piece of peanut butter pie as it was also recommended. The pie was smooth and was covered with what appeared to be a store purchased chocolate sauce.
The service I received was fantastic. My server, Nicole was amazing and had great knowledge of the menu and recipe construction. I just wish the food matched her description.
If you are looking for a homemade menu, I would pass. If you are looking for a quick, and kind experience and don’t care about the food, this should be your place.
Food price was to be expected, and I did not feel it was overpriced.

It was perfect for what I was looking for after a long day of exploring Indianapolis. A local had suggested I try a pork loin sandwich, and I was not disappointed. The pork loin itself was about three times bigger than the bread came on. I elected to have mine fried rather than grilled, it had a delicious crispy fried coating with a delightful seasoning, not too salty or overly breaded. I had a side of coleslaw to go with it, very tasty. The service was very good, the pub was, well a pub.Again, just what I was looking for, would recommend if you’re looking for a casual pub with good food and good service.

The food was so amazing!! The service was what I was expecting for such a chill place like this but it is not typically an atmosphere for younger people. It’s perfect for the office workers in the area and it’s a great spot for locals. The only thing is that the price doesn’t match the portions at. It was a little expensive for what we got but it really is the best Reuben in Indy

Carrie was super awesome waitress while my friends and I were sitting at the bar! She was very chill and told us a little bit about Indianapolis as I drove from Kansas this weekend to see the Royal Rumble! I ordered the JackKnife Chicken and an Electrifying Elixir!

We had a great time and meal at Loughmiller’s Pub. Our server Duane was fantastic, as was the manager Carrie. We had a few glasses of wine, beer, the Roast Beef Dip with a side salad, and Fish and Chips with a cup of chili – all were first rate! When Duane mentioned the peanut butter pie, we had to go for desert! The service was impeccable and the bar had a great welcoming atmosphere. We will be back!

we had made a reservation for 45 people, which they accepted, a little over a week ago. giving the restaraunt PLENTY of time to figure stuff out. when we got there, we were greeted with a slight attitude. okay cool, its okay. its a big party. understandable. youre going to be stressed out. as the night went on, whole tables were waiting on refills for over a half hour at a time. food was being given to the wrong tables, some food wasnt being brought out at all, some food was coming to the table wrong. when stuff started being said, we were given an even bigger attitude. then our server told us that she was being yelled at by everyone and she was “so done”. that is not something that needs to be said to you’re table. hospitality is not something that this restaurant seems to be good at. I then asked to speak to a manager and the bar tender said “good luck”. I spoke with the manager and told her I wasn’t trying to be mean in any way, and she also responded with attitude. She asked where I was seated and I told her I was with the party. She then proceeded to tell me “okay, well 45 people is a LOT for two people. We are trying” and rolled her eyes at me. I’m sorry, but you had a little over a week to get it figured out. If you know you’re servers are not capable of handling a party of that size, you should have either put more servers on for the party or told us that you couldn’t accept a party that big. We’ve been ignored pretty much all night unless she absolutely needed to be here. Half of the time she wasn’t even dropping off her own food to her tables. You can very clearly see that she was overwhelmed, which I understand. But there is no reason under the sun that any of us should have been treated the way that we were. I do not recommend coming here if you have big parties. The food was mediocre at best. Fries were cold, soups took FOREVER to come out, we had to remind multiple times for sides, it just overall was not a good experience. Every single person in our party left disappointed and upset. Some didn’t even eat most of their food because it wasnt up to par. Then, at the end of the night, we waited well over 15 minutes for our checks that weren’t even correct. Our server also didn’t put their real names on our checks. Their “names” were Dave L. There was also an automatic 20% gratuity, which we did not appreciate. I’m not even sure we would have tipped 10%. This was by far the WORST dining experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been in good service for a couple years now. There is a certain standard that is expected when people go out to eat, and this wasn’t even close to that standard. We also found out that one of our servers was brand new to the restaurant. You need to learn how to treat your staff with respect. And your customers. There is no reason the manager should have had an attitude when and issue was brought up. You need to be willing to change to be better.

This little hole in the wall is a hidden gem in every sense. I’m in town for a convention and have been in every day but one this week and the place has been packed. Has that effected the speed of things? Absolutely, but that’s to be understood for a place their size. Menu is straight forward and fairly simple. That said, greatest hits are greatest hits for a reason. Fine dining it is not, but it doesn’t pretend to be. Loughmillers is the undersized scrappy kid who you keep in the rotation because he’s going to give you heart, a few buckets and consistency. Place has been filled with laughter and good vibes each visit. Hard to find that these days.
