Every couple of weeks we come out to this particular Plaza Tapita. (Salisbury MD) They do an absolute amazing job with everything. The service is spot on. As soon as you get a table someone is there within seconds delivering chips and salsa and asking you for your drinks. Minutes later the drinks arrive and you’re asked if you are ready to order. If not no worries unlike at some other places these waiters and waitresses come back in a reasonable amount of time. The food comes out fast and is cooked to perfection. They have never let us down. Hands down the most consistent restaurant I’ve ever been too. We would love to try other places at times but they make it impossible because we know we will always get top quality service and a delicious meal. Been going there for years now and it’s always excellent. I and the crew we go with just don’t want to risk our hard earned 40/50 on a place that we will be disappointed in, and that’s most of them.
You know management is doing something right as well when you’ve seen the same friendly faces for years. Same managers, same waitress same waitresses.

We went on a Saturday evening. It was ok. The food was ok, we tried the la tapatia dinner for 2. it was ok. were not big sauce folks and it was a lil saucy. the refried beans & tacos were delish. You get complentary chips and dip which were good. Its family friendly.

We went on a Friday and it was very busy. Waited 5mins to be seated. Our waiter came and took our drink order, brought chips and salsa. Drinks were very good. Food took maybe 15 mins and was very good as well. Will definitely be making a comeback.

This is not authentic Mexican food. They are not even mexican. The food was a store bought tortilla with what tasted like shrimp cocktail sauce. The worst chicken quesadillas I ever ate. The fries weren’t even good. Come on guys do better represent mexico better please. I hate leaving bad reviews but I would like to see you improve for at least representation.

Last night was first and last time eating here. Other than my order coming out quickly, I can’t say anything else to positive. I ordered guacamole dip and the Texas fajita. In my opinion, the guacamole was a little bland. Didn’t seem to have any herbs or spices added. The Texas fajita is their combination fajita. Chicken, shrimp and steak, with onion, green pepper and tomato. Also had a side plate with beans, guacamole, lettuce and sour cream. The chicken and steak looked like scraps. I had one actual piece of chicken. The steak almost looked like Steak’ems. (What’s used to make steak and cheese subs.) A number of steak pieces were chewy. Had to search through the abundance of green peppers and onions to find the chicken and steak. All of meat and vegetables had very little flavor. The side plate was mostly beans and lettuce. Maybe two tablespoons of guacamole and sour cream. My server was very nice. Although hard to understand with the broken English and being soft spoken.

Our party of 6 was seated right away, for dinnertime. It was a big occasion – husband’s 50th birthday – and we’d come hoping for mariachi musicians, but we were disappointed there.
Our server was attentive at first, visiting our table frequently, glued to our needs for refills of salsas and beverages, etc., but in the latter half of our meal it was like he forgot all about us.
The food was less good than “just okay.” Three out of the six of us brought home our leftovers for the one we call our “garbage disposal,” who’ll eat anything. It was really disappointing. Because of that, we’ll visit one of the many other locations serving Mexican food in town. Maybe it’s just ’cause we’re gringas. Idk. But I’ve eaten plenty of comidas auténticas and never came away feeling this let down.
My daughter tipped the staff off to it being Hub’s birthday, and our server and 3 others came over with dessert and Sombrero to sing HB to him. That was fun, and really cute, so I did really appreciate that.

Ample parking. Quickly seated. Our waiter was great. So many menu options. Very busy, but the attention of the staff didn’t make it feel that way.
