I think if you like Chicago style deep dish, you won’t go wrong. Just prepare to wait as it takes long to bake the pizza. Our most favorite thing to eat there is the lasagna. It’s super yum. We loved the salad bowl for family dinner and I think it was very reasonably priced.

Stopped 5/12/24 (Mothers Day) for lunch
First time visit, sat on their large, covered patio.
Went into the front door, & that part of the building is only for take out. We were told to exit & go in next door.

We opted for the thin crust pizza as we don’t care for the deep dish
We ordered an extra large with pepperoni & sausage, server told us every thin crust pizza comes with the buttered crust & all pizzas take at minimum 30 minutes.
I also ordered a side salad, which came out before the pizza & was Huge! Very fresh! I ordered it with the ranch dressing which came on the side, generous amount and later learned it’s made fresh in house, delicious!
Pizza came out, the server or runner will automatically serve first pieces (cut into squares) which I’m not a fan of. The crust was Very buttery. I like my pepperoni on the top but they were buried under the cheese. Toppings were sparse. Over all we didn’t care for it.
We will return & next time try the pasta, which a table next to us got & looked delicious.
Full bar
Shout out to the older gentleman host & server who were both pleasant, knowledgeable & seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs.

Lou Malnati’s is my wife and I’s favorite Chicago style pizza. We were in Indy and thought we would give this a try. While I would say the Chicago OG might be slightly better, the staff at this establishment were some of the best folks of any restaurant we have visited. The pies here were still great. All of the staff here were super friendly and working in unison to cover customer needs. Even the manager was working in the kitchen and helping with tables. It was nice to experience such a positive group of people. The restaurant was clean and in a nice area of town. I would recommend stopping in and having some good pies in a friendly atmosphere.

Overall great experience! I order medium half and half deep dish, lasagna, wine, and garlic bread appetizer. They were out of the calamari fritti. Total came to $104 that’s including tip for 2 people. I visited on a Sunday evening. No crowd at all. Waiter was cool and attentive. I like the vibes, they do have a bar.

Very tasty deep dish! We ordered a combination platter as an app. and the Malnati Chicago classic, which is a deep dish pizza with red sauce, mozzarella, and half thumb size chunks of ground sausage. All of which were super flavorful, crust was crunchy and buttery and sausage was not spicy.

Our server was great and very helpful. She did amazing checking on us and keeping us posted about our order. The pizza did take a bit to get to our table, about 45 min. After placing, but business was a pretty busy that day.

I was up on the northeast side of Indy for an event. It did not go well, so what does anybody do when they’ve had a less than stellar day, they look for good pizza, of course. Well, Broadripple has been holding out on me, as I found Lou Malnati’s. I was not disappointed. We started out with their 3 Cheese bread, which was amazing. The marinara was awesome too. The thin crust Pepperoni and sausage pizza was one of the best I’ve had, and that’s saying something. Devo, our server, was top notch. Great service all the way around. Next time we’re in the area, you can bet Lou Malnati’s will be high up on the list for places to go eat.

Super nice staff. Food was absolutely delicious with a crispy crust. We ordered The Lou Deep Dish and Stuff Spinach Bread; spectacular staff, who was very courteous. We were seated and waited on immediately. Our waitress was very respectful and patient as we were indecisive initially. 10/10 would recommend.

I stopped by Lou Malnatis for a deep dish pizza. There is a small, free parking lot right outside the restaurant. This restaurant is family friendly. They do sell wine and liquor.

As a first timer, I saw they offered thin and deep dish crusts. I ordered the small deep dish with pepperoni, bell pepper, and mushrooms. The server will serve your first slice to you. The cheese pull…10/10 would recommend! The pizza crust was flaky, however I would have preferred it to be slightly crisper. I found out you can ask for the crust to be well done, and that you can add butter to the crust while it’s baking. I’ll be doing that at my next visit. As far as the sauce, it was not too sweet or bitter. The toppings were super fresh. Lou Malnati’s also gives you the option of getting lower fat cheese. Overall, it was a good experience!

Bonus: The staff was very helpful and friendly.

What a neat place. They have designed the whole decor around the old Broad Ripple Amusement Park. What a great way to honor the past and open a new location. We came on a Saturday night and got in quickly, but they were nearly full. We started with the Malnati’s Salad which could be a dinner salad for 2 people or a side salad for 4. We got two pizzas; a small deep dish and a small crustless. Both were very good. I really liked the buttery crust, but I don’t know if it was worth the carbs. We saw some good looking appetizers and pasta dishes delivered to other tables. I certainly will be back to try more on the menu.

Wonderful experience at this restaurant. Our server Michele H was amazing as well. We got the wings as a appetizer and were blown away with how great they are. Super crispy, flavorful and good portion. The pizza was just as delicious and you could clearly tell it had just been pulled from the oven moments ago. Will definitely be back soon.
