Great little neighborhood ice cream shop in this quaint lake town. They serve Cedar Crest versus making their own, but a fun stop. Could use some better outside seating though.

This ice cream is delicious but it’s not worth $6.50 when you can get a whole pale ice cream for that and make it stretch for 3 weeks or less. It would be a treat only every maybe 3 months if that. Quick Trip you can get a one and a half quart of ice cream for $4.99 and you can get multiple flavors the maple nut is best and they have peppermint bon bon as well and chocolate and vanilla.

I have a rule regarding ice cream: If I bike 20 miles, I reward myself with an ice cream cone. One of my favorite rides is along the Dakota Rail Trail through the Lake Minnetonka region. On a good day when I have a lot of energy to burn, the ride starts at and ends at Wayzata Bay with a turn-around point 27 miles later at St. Bonifacius. Since that makes for a ride almost 60 miles total, that means I can allow myself a stop at Lost Lake Creamery, usually on the return trip.
