My husband and I usually come here to enjoy a good dinner, but this will be the last time we come. I would rather order your food through DoorDash. The service was terrible, and this is not the first time she has treated us poorly. I’m not giving a 1-star rating because your food is really good, but the service is pretty bad.

Little Mexican restaurant off of the highway. It looks like a small cabin but has quite a bit of seating inside. Salsa was good and served in a bottle so you could refill your own salsa. Ordered the medium queso. It was a bit runny but very good. DH had the carne asada and I had the pollo feliz. Both were excellent. Would eat here again!

One of our favorite Mexican restaurants is “going downhill fast”, as there is a “new” manager and the service has been horrible our last two visits. We recently visited this past Saturday 1/10/25….
Many of the “old team” of servers are not to be found, many new faces…??
No chips until we requested after seated for 10 minutes, which until this past weekend was instantly when seated, as were drinks….
Our food was served 15 minutes after other tables, which arrived after us…., quesadillas were dry, overcooked/burnt…
Probably will be reluctant to return – TBD

I’m truly sad writing this because this was one of my favorite places.. but was one of my worst experiences tonight.
Started off with half our cheese dip getting spilt on the table and cleaned up with napkins (sticky) and didn’t have it replaced, my husband never got a refill, I burned my finger on my plate and mouth on food because it was so insanely hot, took awhile for our check. Once we got the check the server never came back so I stood up to pay at the front. Doing so I forgot my food (it was too hot I had to wait to eat then packed it to go) well I got maybe 5 minutes down the road and realized it.. I called to come back for it they had already thrown it away. OH and they took the food my husband was still eating.. A man came and asked if he was done with his plate and he said yes. They then took everything from the table besides the chips… but took the salsa and left of the cheese that my husband was clearly eating when he came up.

The food was good but it wasn’t as good as it could be because it wasn’t made with 100% Mexican ingredients like most truly authentic Mexican restaurants are in the southwest. My chicken enchilada tasted like it had some type of cheese whiz in it. I’m not sure if that’s what it was, and it was alright but authentic is better. The chips were very good. They were light and tasty and the salsa was a perfect blend of tasty and just the right amount of spice. Cindy had seafood tacos. I took a bite and they were absolutely delectable, they were nearly perfect white meat fish that was light and sweet. I’d go again. I would encourage you to try it too.

Great place to catch a bite. Had a side of guacamole and was some of the best we’ve ever had. They had jalapeño blended in for some heat. Fantastic! The Carnitas were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Perfect.

This is hands down the best Mexican food that I’ve had in Tennessee. The atmosphere is great and the food is amazing. We’ve passed this restaurant so many times and I’m so glad we finally stopped to try it out. Will 100% be coming back!
