Los Tapatios is a great Mexican restaurant with food that tastes authentic. Chips and salsa are free, but they’re not of any special quality. The service was a little slow (and they weren’t terribly busy), but it didn’t negatively affect the experience.
I went on Margarita Thursday, but it was a business lunch, so I wasn’t able to partake.
The only downside is that the restaurant isn’t clearly labelled from the street. It’s to the left of a yellow awning for the Chinese restaurant next door. Street parking.

The combo platters are really nice and you get a lot for your money. The burritos are my favorite. They have habanero sauce as condiments on your table (a rarity for Mexican restaurants). Not only that, but the wait time for food is incredibly low. They definitely don’t skimp on meat (a rarity for cheap Mexican food). Is it authentic? I have no idea. But it’s certainly the best in town and definitely worth your money.

ambience. I liked the authenticity of ambience like mexican place but found the sitting too much crowded.
Liquor : Nothing on the tap. very conservative selections of beer No stouts. corona drinker wont have problems
Food : i ordere spinach casadia, paublano peppers and faita, food was authentic to the taste of mexican i was used to . No problems there.
Greeting and starter : Here the lady who showed us the seat was different and one taking our order was different and person who brought us the meal was different. These resulted in our ordering drinks after 30 min of wait time and main course took around 40 min. granted it was friday night but people after us were getting their order before us.
the salsa was not fresh taste i am use too may be its my taste but wasnt to the mark. also once those chips ended no body cared to look and refill it.

Incredibly good, authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. We’ve travelled throughout the Southwest and have (personally) only found one restaurant, in Santa Fe, that was significantly better.

This is supposed to be a mexian resturant ….I’m not sure what they think they cook but its not mexian we ordered 4 different dishes and the amount of salt in them was unreal, the tortillas are mission if I wanted walmart tortillas I would have just gone there, the cook must be tired of because you can taste in the food they have given up the food is as tired as the cook the portions are huge bland, and extremely salty. I got one of there speicals it had 2 peices of sliced chicken canned refried beans and chopped lettuce from a bag. The second dish was a chimichonga which I’m not sure what we got but it looked more like 1 rolled taco then a chimichonga , the 3rd which was taquitos the pork, or beef not sure it was so bad was so salty you couldn’t even eat granted it was so old and dry it might be a good thing it was salted the chicken was just ok, and the burrito was some rice and beans with again almost no meat and a tiny little tortilla. GO TO LOS PANCHOS they actually know what Mexican food is…..

Food is okay, but this place is severely under staffed. It has taken over an hour for me to get a chicken quesadilla. Just wait over 20 minutes on hold to place a carry out order. Huge waste of time, don’t eat here if you are on a schedule.

Dont eat here!!!!! Good food but worst service I’ve ever had and that includes ten years of restaurant work under my belt. Eaten here many times but the last time I sat for 15 minutes and all the waitstaff could do was stare at me. Walked out!!
