Everyone here was friendly and the food was amazing I ordered the carbs asada tacos and was shocked how flavorful they were, my only regret is I don’t live anywhere near taco disco because if I did I it would be a major go to place for me

Good Authentic Mexican tacos. Great stop, but easy to miss at night time as the town is not that lit up. Al Pastor tacos were great and fried testicular tacos I think was the other one which was good also and very different I think the other meat that was different was stomach. The salsa definitely has a kick to it so be ready I know I wasn’t but it was so good even my mouth was on fire.

Best Mexican food I have had by far in Ruidoso. Don’t let the name or exterior fool you. The food was very good and inexpensive. Service was also good. The relleno burrito was good size and cost $6. The chicken tacos plate had 4 delicious tacos for $8. The chips served to us were tasty and not greasy. The salsa was not hot but tasty. The overall menu had lots of options. There were at least 6 or 7 taco choices as well as several burritos plus other dishes. They are open for breakfast also. I will return.

Friendly, cozy spot with no pretensions, and guys, those chicken tacos. THOSE CHICKEN TACOS. Get them with the chopped onions and chiles for maximum effect.

No called La Ramona’s, but still some good Mexican food. Had breakfast and it was delicious. The Hueavos Rancheros were alittle different than what I’m used to in Texas, but having chilaquiles as a side was a nice surprise. They also have pan dulce, which went great with the free coffee! Wife had the breakfast tacos, served on blue corn tortillas, and they looked delicious. They have added outdoor seating as well, which is great because the dining room is a little small.
Im looking forward to visiting again to try the lunch tacos.

Living in a border town in the state of Texas and growing up on Mexican food, I thought I knew good Mexican food. Let me tell y’all that I was wrong.
A 12-hour drive to a northern state gave me the most delicious and amazing taste of authentic Mexican food I had ever had in my life. You can tell every single dish is homemade. The breakfast was so amazing, we went back for lunch on a separate day of our trip.

My sister brought along her husky, so we sat outside and enjoyed the weather. We were given water for the dog who happily enjoyed some pets from the owner and a few strangers, lol.
My boyfriend and I were able to have some great conversation with one of the owners (a married couple, both of whom work as cooks & waiters of the restaurant). Upon learning they’d be closed the following day (& last day of our vacation), I had to order a dish to-go for my breakfast the following day, lol. As strange as my request initially seemed to the owners, they still happily obliged packaging everything separately in order for me (i.e., my bf) to easily warm it and have it fresh the following morning.

I can’t remember the last time I felt so happy to be eating “leftovers” the following day
Things I couldn’t select in the listed dishes that were good: the menudo, the coffee, authentic & just-made aguas frescas, homemade flour tortillas.
The tripitas were the cleanest tripitas I had ever seen in my life.

Most delicious home cooked Mexican cuisine you can find in New Mexico. You can’t go wrong!
Approved by a foodie, a picky little sister, and a picky foodie for a bf ❤️

PSA: for the past negative reviews posted here, the current owners are new and have barely been there full-time a little over 6 months if I recall correctly.
Their experiences may be valid, but rest assured that the restaurant has a new look along with new management
I regret not taking photos to show updates. But another recent review showed the bright and colorful wall painted with a cactus. The exterior is white and no longer orange.
