Me my wife and my son stopped by here tonight to grab something for dinner because she was craving a hot dog, so I googled hot dogs near me and this place popped up! Thank God we stopped because the food was amazing, the girl behind the counter was nice and didn’t rush us because she knew it was our first time. Hot dogs were very fresh and you could tell they weren’t store bought And the sidewinder fries were very good! They were very unique. Almost like a potato wedge and a fry had a baby. Well I highly recommend this place! Me and my wife got hot dog meals and my son got the kids chicken tender meal and the portions were definitely worth the money!

I had the best time here! Any time I can get a whole pickle as a side dish is a great day. My hot dog was amazing, the fries were perfect. The staff was super chill, and there was a pokestop at the restaurant so my friend and I were not rushing through the meal lol My only regret is that I didn’t try a milkshake – so I plan to be back!

I had a Pittie Dog with tots and it was delicious! Definitely one of my new favorite spots in Norfolk. Highly recommend checking them out if you haven’t yet! You’ll never want hot dogs from home again.

Man behind the counter was nice and very helpful explaining the options, he’s clearly passionate about his buisness and I thought that was awesome. The ambiance was great as well, dog themed all over even the bathroom.
Their shakes seemed really good although i didn’t get one. Seems like they have experimental ones too which was cool. Tried a spin on saurkraut, was interesting and good.
Got the sampler dogs and although small, very flavorful. Also had the veggie stadium dog in told was very good as well if you’re looking for vegan options.
Only thing I didn’t like was, something must’ve been going on with the exhaust vents bc the place filled up with smoke. I’m assuming bc of how busy the place was that something may have not been running right and they’ll have it fixed.

Excellent Chicago Dogs! We’ve been wanting to try Pittie Dog Grill since it opened, but never had a reason to stop. The hot dog line at the Zoo was stupid long, so we left and went to Pittie instead. Cheaper and waaaaay better! On Friday, they do $5 quarter-pound hot dogs, so we got them Chicago-style. Zesty peppers, fresh tomatoes, and a tasty meat missile! The owner, a cool guy, says he opened the place to show that pit bulls are good dogs, too. All the staff was friendly and warm. Apparently, the restaurant has had two TV spots and a newspaper story written about it. Cool beans! I’ll be back for more pork torpedoes from Pittie soon.

I am not so much a hot dog fan, but my husband loves a good dog. They have many tasty variations and the sweet potato fries are delicious. I saw they had milkshakes too, so one day I will have to try one, but the sweet potato fries were e rough calories on this day.

Met the owner and his story makes me so emotional. The truth behind this establishment is a monumental note of positivity to pit bulls and hot dogs. Both having poor stereotypes, this combo provides an unique perspective of the two. The staff is exponentially sweet, ensuring your meal is to your satisfaction. Each meal made in plain view and with speed. The sweet treats that are available are amazing. I absolutely would recommend this establishment for a quick dine in experience or a relaxing meeting spot with an exotic atmosphere. 10/10 Recommend!

Always a great bite. I’m originally from the Chicago area so it’s nice to have a place that has Chicago dogs that are like what I remember as a kid (or pretty close at least). The sides are delicious too, especially the fries. And the custard milkshakes…. Sooo good. I highly recommend this local eat. If you have someone in your group who is iffy about going to a hot dog restaurant, they won’t be disappointed. Pittie dog knows how to do a hot dog. Plus they promote pit bull rescue which I love. Having pitties myself, it’s a cause close to my heart.
Definitely give this place a try if you’re in the area!
