We are here for my birthday celebration. First, we got settled at our table and put our two year old into his highchair and he was in there about two minutes until he started sliding down in it, stuck and scraping his back. The center strap was missing so down he went. Not cool. Our waitress was not very friendly. She took our orders, dropped our food off, and disappeared. Didn’t come back until we were done eating. My pregnant, and naturally hungry sister in law ordered the ACP and she said the chicken had nothing on it. No seasonings, just chicken tossed in the oil it was cooked with. We all tried a piece to make sure she wasn’t imagining things and it was indeed nasty and flavorless. Who doesn’t season their chicken? She didn’t want to eat it but ate just the rice and cheese. We kept looking around for our waitress or a manager to let them know so they could make things right for her and neither were anywhere to be found. Finally, after we were all finished, she magically reappears. My brother told her we looked for her but didn’t see her and asked nicely if it could be taken off the check. She said yes she would get it taken care of. Then comes time to pay the check and the boy at the front register started giving my brother a hard time about taking the ACP off even though the waitress told us she could. He had to stand there and banter back and forth, telling them he was not going to pay for it since it was our waitress’ job to come back after dropping the food off and make sure everything was good instead of disappearing/neglecting us. They FINALLY took it off for him but they shouldn’t have given him such a hard time like that if they want repeat customers. The waitress is lucky my brother is a good guy and still left her a tip. I waited tables for 10 years of my life and I even felt like she shouldn’t have gotten a tip because the service was that bad.
The rest of the food was just okay. They take a lot of shortcuts. I ordered enchiladas with the red sauce and it tasted like canned tomato soup. I ate it bc I’m not too picky. My husband had quesabirria tacos which barely had any cheese (weird) but the consume (the broth you dip them in) was excellent to say something positive about this experience. Needless to say, sadly none of us would ever go back there. We spent too much time looking around waiting for our waitress to pay attention to her table and it really ruined the whole experience. Such a let down.

We got seated and the place was dead so we assumed quick service. That was a bad assumption. Waitress went missing for 20 minutes at a time. Food showed up with multiple strands of hair in it. When the manager was consulted, he did not offer to comp the meal. Food was reasonably cheap if you like eating hairy food. I would avoid unless you are going for a $9 jumbo marg and leaving.

My family and I have been going here for years now. They are always very kind, and attentive to us. They have made adjustments to our meals for dietary restrictions (ex. No salt on huevos rancheros) which absolutely keeps us coming back again and again. Love this place

My husband and I have started our first Friday Nacho & Margarita date night. The top shelf margarita was excellent! The jumbo was the best value. Little disappointed in the nachos. Big chunks of chicken with little flavor, one half of tomato, and a salad of lettuce on top. The chips on the bottom were soggy. Will be back for margaritas!!

They didn’t have room for our large group so they sat us on the patio. It was enclosed and had heaters to keep us warm so it was good. They forgot to bring our queso until our meal came. The beer guy showed up so they propped the door open and then it was very cold. Our server wasn’t very attentive.

I had been here in June 2025, and the food and service were excellent. I took some family members here yesterday, and it was nowhere near as good as the first time. Service was minimal (no refills offered). Chips were stale, the rice was old (no one at my table could eat it—it was stale and dark like it has been under a heat lamp and was leftover from the day before). My son ordered a steak, and it was so so so awful. He said, “If chewing gum had a roadkill flavor, this steak is it.” The waitress was not to be found, so we didn’t bother trying to send back the food. We ate what we could, and left. Won’t be back.

TLDR: the food is awesome, service is great, but the atmosphere resembles a Walmart auto center. Go for the food.
Los Mosquitoes ( ) served me the most delicious Chile Colorado I’ve EVER tasted! Wow! And – I loved that there was a chicken and pork option in addition to the traditional beef. Win! Our Casamigos tequila shots were perfectly salted with a generous pour at an affordable price. The beef fajitas plate for two was large enough for 4! We took it home and gnoshed it with eggs for breakfast this morning. For desert we tried sopapilla. It was tasty, although more like a tortilla chip consistency rather than the more fluffy varietals we’re used to. If Los Mosquitoes added some attractive wall decor and some rope lights outside for atmosphere, they’d de a solid 5/5. We will visit again in a few weeks and update.
