I had the carnitas plate. Excellent. The salsa made me sweat! They have a great selection tequilas. I will return. Went back a second time. Very good. I had the steak after a hard hike and a cold swim.

Let me start off by saying this restaurant was basically empty, the service was probably the worst service I’ve ever had and the food was lacking, grisly and expensive. After reading other reviews of the same kind of experience, I WILL NOT BE BACK. I highly reccomend others to steer clear. Very RUDE

The good: salsa (tasted exactly like the salsa from Chevy’s). The rice. The vibe of the restaurant was fine.
The bad: the service – our waiter was hard to flag down for it being such a small & empty restaurant, he also forgot to bring us items. Had to pay for chips and salsa, but at least it wasn’t a lot of money. The shrimp – zero flavor. The beans also werent great but that was the least offense.

I loved my custom burrito: asada, avocado, pico de gallo, beans, sour cream. my wife had a great fish taco. we shared a margarita that was very strong and tasty.

The most amazing food I’ve eaten in a long time. This place is amazingly tasty, truly great Mexican food…. and I’m from Texas, the mecca of great Mexican food. The chili rellenos are done right, fluffy egg coating,; the fish and shrimp tacos were so crispy and delicious. And, if you really want to experience nirvana this side of Heaven, try their garlic fries. Finish off with flan and the plantains and you’ll be in Heaven! Definitely coming back when I’m back this way.

We went here while on our yearly vacation to Tahoe. I can officially say that we will continue to come here every year we come back! The food was soooo good. I had the Chile Verde Plato and it was amazing the homemade tortillas were so good. There was only one guy helping all the tables, but he did such a great job. I saw him going to table to table and he made sure everyone was happy. I was very impressed. Can’t wait until next time!

My family and I came for lunch. Portions were huge and reasonably priced. Service was quick. I chose the healthy Juana Salad (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, feta cheese, raspberry vinaigrette); it was delicious but didn’t have the advertised cranberries. They also did not have Horchata that day. Still, the food was good and I recommend.

They need help. I waited 15 minutes before I was asked to be seated and I was the only one waiting. It was not a full restaurant. Then they forgot me… did not ask if I wanted a drink or anything. I wanted to order to go and they were out of steak and carnitas. This is unheard of for Mexican Restaurant. This was at 530pm and not before closing. Terrible communication and it seems like they only care and serve large parties. I was alone. Bad customer service.
