The service was good. Sat outside on the patio. Now, the steak in the Carne Asada was a bit tough. I did order it medium well, but I got well done instead. I didn’t inform the waitress of the overcooked steak, but there was no apology or compensation for their error. It was just here’s your bill.

I have pros & cons….
Portions size was good. The taste was definitely there. I wouldn’t say it’s authentic but it’s filling and good. The salsa wasn’t spicy at all which is a plus because I don’t like spicy.
The chicken quesadilla literally looks like a taco, no veggies literally only chicken & hardly any cheese. I won’t order that anymore. My tamale was half eaten or broken in half.. I didn’t eat it because Idk which one it was.

Our food was delicious. Our server was fantastic. I had the chicken quesadilla supreme, so good! We all left happy!!

Everything was cold. Manager noticed i wasn’t eating and asked if everything was okay. I told him it was just…. cold… I don’t even eat cold sammiches. He told me his grandfather was the same way and then remade my food and brought it to me piping hot. Food was delicious. Very good customer service, just call me abuela.

Had a great mom-daughter date there! As two people with celiac/gluten sensitivity, it is challenging finding places to eat that don’t make us sick. We’ve found most Mexican restaurants to work well for us as long as we stick with corn tortillas. The choriqueso was great! If you haven’t tried it yet, you should! I like their chips bc they are thinner and crispier then other places. Salsa was just right- not too spicy.

Los Mayas was very busy when I walked in on a Friday evening at 6:30. Regardless, they seated me right away! I took about 3 minutes to find something on the menu and they came over to bring my drink and take my order. The food came out in about 10 minutes maybe and was freshly made and tasted good. The server checked in on me twice during my 30 minutes stay and without asking, brought me a to go cup with a refill of my drink. For me, that was awesome because I really did want another drink but I was leaving so I didn’t ask… my overall experience was on par with what a may expect. The to go drink was over the top and the quick seating was over the top for me.
