Carlos made our dining experience amazing! His personality and table manners were incredible. He was funny, engaging and professional.
Our food was served in a timely manner and hot! Everything tasted great. The salsa & chips were yummy! My beef taco and tortilla soup was just enough to fill me up.
My hubby ordered 2 beef burritos. He said, they were awesome.
I enjoyed my pineapple water. It was refreshing and an alternative from ordering a soda and plain water.

Continue exploring new food places in Ocala. This night we found a local Mexican restaurant very close to home. The staff is very friendly, attentive to their tables and work together, adding to the experience.
The food is authentic and made to order. Plenty of chips and salsa. Great food selection on the menu. The decor of the restaurant adds to the vibrant atmosphere. We enjoyed this local Mexican restaurant!

We stopped by to check them out and were glad we did. The atmosphere was festive, the staff person was pleasant but seemed a bit stretched as he didn’t stop by to check on how our food was until we were almost done eating. The food came quickly and was good as we had the $2.50 taco Tuesday specials. We will stop by again and recommend giving them a try.

Waitress didn’t inform us that a menu item had changed and we never got the chance to make it right because the waitress didn’t check on us, not once. She actively avoided us. Even trying to get a drink refill was impossible. They “made it right” not by removing the item that was wrong, but by giving us 3 dollars off of the 20 dollar appetizer so there is that. Sadly, this place was unremarkable before but had one craveable item, which they charged. The service is nonexistent.

Update. Harvey told me to come back after he straightened out the quality issue with fajita meat. So i returned a few weeks later, ordered take out, and this time was worse. I received the same gross stringy meat strips swimming in grease with way too much seasoning. But get this, no fajitas for the fajitas!! Nothing to wrap them in! Plus No chips and salsa either, plus guacamole was old and brown. What the heck is going on? Nobody has a check list? Nobody double checks food orders?
Old las magueyes would never serve this trash.
New management has made the critical mistake of using cheap food instead of the high quality we were used to for years. The new fajita mix is 50% big chunks of pork, a few shreds of beef and chicken, a normal portion of shrimp, peppers and onions…swimming in so much grease I had to strain it into a bowl and blot with 12 paper towels. It is also a new weird seasoning, very salty. The fajita mix was old and not fresh either.
This place went from the best to the worst. I spoke with Harvey the new manager, hopefully he’ll go back to the old high quality mix and seasoning and stop with the grease and salt.
I picked up take out on a Sunday at 4 and the place was empty except for 3 tables. Hoping they can turn this around.
AND UPDATE, THIS PLACE IS GROSS AND SERVES OLD FOOD. DON’T GET FOOD POISONING @

To my knowledge, I have never written a negative review about a restaurant. My approach is straightforward: if I am not satisfied with the experience, I refrain from returning. However, this establishment is excessively overpriced. For instance, a mere $10 is charged for a diminutive serving of queso dip. Furthermore, the quality of the ground beef is subpar, comparable to the quality of dog food. Their “Birria tacos” tasted like dry pot roast covered in oil which was $17 for 3 tacos. Horrible experience to say the very least

We are camping at Silver Springs State Park. We found this restaurant and it looked like it had good reviews so we decided to try it. It is delicious! Fresh ingredients, very tasty! My husband had a burrito and I had Pollo Loco. So so good! Domenica was our waitress and was amazing as well! Don’t miss this one!
