5 Stars ******** Being a resident of Unicoi, Tn, makes having Los Jalapenos within 5 minutes from us a Very Good Thing !!! It is one of our Favorite dining places to go. The Service is Always Good, Friendly and Attentive.
The Food is Always Excellent ! Somehow, no matter how busy it can get there, the staff always seems to make it seem manageable and the quality of the food superb. We are very fortunate to have such a Good Mexican Restaurant in our City.

I really wanted to give this place an excellent review bc I’ve been here before and it was really good and the service was too. Today was not the right day for that though. I have to say though that I believe things were not on point bc of minimal staff and they weren’t overly busy but when there’s only 2-3 servers it tends to get very hectic. I got a chicken quesadilla and it was soggy and very cold… I took a bite and couldn’t even try and swallow it. The rice was hard and tasteless but the chips and salsa were good. My husband and my brother’s meals were good though. My young niece wanted chicken nuggets and fries and they were cold and really tough. We also had to wait on everything a bit longer than we should’ve but like I said.. they are under staffed. Our server did a good job for everything he had going on.

$10 for this tiny bowl of cheese that wasnt even filled the entire way. I can literally go t9 walmart next door and make a batch much larger for cheaper! There’s also nothing else but cheese in it! No peppers to be seen at all and I swear it used to have them. So incredibly disappointing because I understand that inflation has hit everyone and I understand some change in quantity but this is greed.

This place is awesome!! We were in the area for 3 months and ate here 6 times it is that good!!!! The service… amazing every time too!! We travel often from Fredericksburg, VA to Asheville, NC we love going down 81 to 26 and we stop at the Tinker exit almost every time to get food, gas and go to the Walmart! Awesome exit to stop and eat, cant wait to go back!

Loved it! Generous portions and everything is fresh and crispy, and i mean things like yhe guac and the salad. Great steak too, i had the steak Jalisco. The michelada did not disappoint either
