I had an excellent lunch here. The owner, Luis, personally waited on us. I had just done a big workout and he convinced me that I needed to try his hand made lemonade. It was fantastic! He adds lime and lemon to it and it was exactly what I needed. Both my work partner and I did the molcajete which is a lava rock that they bake the food in. We had chicken and steak and the flavors were wonderful! This is a great spot to eat lunch or dinner at on King St!

We were celebrating my husband’s Birthday. Decided to try a new restaurant in Old Town. The owner Luis came out to talk to us personally. Very nice and made us feel Special. We sat outside in the patio. The food was very good & authentic. I highly recommend it. I had the tacos & my husband had Chile relleno plate. We would go back definitely especially during Alexandria restaurant week.

I been here several times and I have a asome experience. It’s a very small Mexican place on King street. Everything tastes fresh, especially the Guacamole which combines really well with their Margarita, and services is outstanding . definitely I recommend it .

Tasty food, mediocre service. I’d go back. I was really happy with the spinach enchiladas– the tomatillo sauce hit the spot and they were generous with cheese. Margaritas are normal-sized to giant. I’m glad I got only the medium, because the large was GIANT.

Came here today with my husband for the first time. We ordered the ceviche to start my husband had a beer and I had water .I don’t know if the waiter is new or what, but food was delivered a chicken without the mole sauce so my husband food was eaten cold waiting for the mole to arrive. My meal was bland, shrimp wrapped in bacon and peppers under seasoned over cooked. Overall a disappointment, to top it off our bill came with over $200.00 in charge. Multiple items that we did not ordered and yes they rectify, voided and rang us again but unfortunately we will not be returning to this place.

I went to Los Cuates to participate in their Karaoke Night and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about the restaurant and karaoke. I ordered the steak quesadilla and the steak was absolutely delicious. The manager and staff were very friendly and attentive. The manager even got up and sang a few songs. Karaoke DJ AKA.. KJ Smiles did a great job.

Came to get take out. Reviews seemed good so I was excited. Worst spinach enchiladas I have EVER had. The rice tasted old and was hard. And the filling of the enchiladas was terrible. It didn’t smell good and tasted sour.

This was an all-around great experience. We went in on a Sunday just to grab food before an activity and sat at the bar. The bartender was lovely, the food was amazing and flavorful, and we had a great time watching whatever sports was on the TV. Will definitely return.
