Tasty food, mediocre service. I’d go back. I was really happy with the spinach enchiladas– the tomatillo sauce hit the spot and they were generous with cheese. Margaritas are normal-sized to giant. I’m glad I got only the medium, because the large was GIANT.

The street tacos were delicious and tasted very similar to the ones back home. I got the Diablo margarita and the spice on it was great. It wasn’t spicy but definitely did have a kick to it. Our waitress did a great job at being attentive. The music being played was authentic and reminded me of home. Overall a great restaurant, ambiance, and service. Worth trying out if you are in the area.

We were in DC for 5 days & it was so amazing we went twice!!! We had Mariza and Marvey take care of us. The Queso was great. Actually the best. The salsa is fresh. Happy Hour Margaritas and steak tacos. So good we went back!! Second trip added the flan! Yum

Best experience EVER!!! We googled a nearby Mexican cuisine and found this gem. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was hot and fresh. The HH Margarita was phenomenal and got the job done. The staff was amazing as well. We will definitely be back I highly recommend this place for lunch and dinner.

Definitely was excited to try this place based on reviews….First there’s no crab dip even though it was on a review. Then we ordered from Brunch side and definitely don’t recommend that since it was very dry and no real flavor. Waiter was nice though. Nice outdoor spot for eating too.

This place is my favorite in Old Town Alexandria. The staff is so down to earth and kind. I order shrimp tacos every time I come, and 100% of the time it’s fire. I bring all my friends here for lunch catch-ups and dinner. The margaritas, *chefs kiss*. There is no other taco restaurant in Alexandria I’d prefer to go to. Forever a regular at Los Cuates. 7 stars.

This Mexican restaurant is in our neighborhood so we go there often. Our favorite item on the menu is queso with ground beef, fajitas and a margarita. There food is consistently good. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Los Cuates if you find yourself in Old Town Alexandria.
