Got the Jollof rice with goat meat. The sauce was delicious and had a good amount of spice, happy with the flavor. The amount of meat I got was pretty bad, especially for $17. More bones than anything else. Maybe it was due to ordering goat, I might try again with chicken or beef.

This is my first time here at this restaurant I placed an order online for palmnut soup with chicken, and jollof rice with fish and a beef pie (empanada). A few problems ; they said my order will be ready by 12:30 but I actually didn’t get it until 1:15 And they didn’t have any meat pies so I had to substitute for plantains. I’m not sure but I’ve been to other African restaurants in the 757 and even though you order ahead it seems like they don’t start cooking your food until you arrive to pick up. I’ve never had jollof rice but what I had tasted pretty good, and the fish was nicely seasoned. I’ve never had palmnut soup either, it had a nice taste to it but it was a bit oily I’m sure if that is how it’s supposed to be, and the two chicken drums was tender. The fudu has texture and taste of sticky mash potatoes and the plaintains were decent.

Sitting in my truck and just ate some of my soup bc I can’t even wait to go home to eat it ^_^! I absolutely love coming here! Totally deserves 5 stars and anything less- are total haters. I love getting the Peanut Butter soup (typically chicken or combo with fish). I’ve eaten plenty of African food from in the USA to another continent to being taught how to make it by friends when I lived overseas. I totally recommend this place!

I waited 30 minutes for an order of pepper soup and yams. It is extremely hot inside the restaurant. I was charged 19.xx cents for pepper soup and yams. The yams had absolutely no seasoning. The pepper soup contained 7 small pieces of goat meat. I literally paid 19.00 for tomato soup I would not order here again.

This was recommended by a friend and we were so happy that we went. I have never had West African cuisine before. The food was amazing and the owners were very gracious and seemed happy to teach us the proper etiquette for eating this food. We all had soup and fufu. I had the pepper soup and my wife had the peanut soup. It was a fun new cultural experience! We had to take half our food home, as we got full. We tried the meat pie and it was spiced very well. We had the Kelewele ( plantains ) and they were so good! Even had them with breakfast this morning as well! The fufu was a new experience for us.

The food was absolutely delicious. The meal was good, and the place’s atmosphere felt joyful and loving. I assume that the place is family owned. They deserve all the recognition. I will be stopping by again soon.

I LOVED the food. I had Waakya with goat meat (spicy) and not spicy with my hubby.

An overall great experience every time I come in. The gentleman at the counter was extremely welcoming and polite. The food is well taken care of and tastes amazing. They show that there is something different and still really good besides the norm. It’s not like fast food at all.
