Longtime, family owned, Ocala stalwart still serves the best pizza and Italian standards in the region. There’s also a dining room in the back. Recommended.

Very disappointed in the pizza and the garlic knots. Pizza was soggy and the garlic knots were raw balls of dough. The owner is also not flexible with his coupons. If you advertise a free cheese pizza and the customer would like to add toppings, then charge them for the extra toppings. But please don’t say that the computer can’t process such a request. In my world, it’s pretty simple, it’s called the customer is always right. I will take my business to Pavarotti’s in Dunnellon. Their pizza is great, they’re flexible with their coupons, and are open everyday!
Update: I edited my review to 1 star because in 28 years that I have been taking my family to Loritos for some wonderful pizza and service, I can honestly say I threw away the terrible garlic knots that never got better with baking and the pizza that never crisped up because it was so soggy!

I stopped by here on Thursday (Feb 18) at 3:17 PM. Despite my being almost twenty minutes late for the lunch special of 2 pizza slices and a drink, the kindly manager gave me the option. Those two sizeable pieces o’ pepperoni along with the a side salad made for a fantastic fare. I will be back!
Tip: Keep any Italian Vinaigrette left over from the salad to dunk the soft & chewy pizza crusts in… delicious.

After probably 40 years of the best pizza in Ocala, they have unfortunately become average. I understand there are new owners for this family restaurant and I have not tried anything from the kitchen but pizza is always the center of any pizza establishment. While I still plan to order in the future, my hopes will not be very high.
Our latest foray involved two half burn pizzas that were barely even round. Lately the consistency has been a non-existant.

“Our Spot” as we call it. The food is freshly made and TASTY, better than the big chain on 200. Seating up front is like a small casual pizza parlor, with more private and romantic seating in the back. Plenty of space for a large group, call ahead tho. This has literally become our favorite place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to give John, the guy tossing pizza, a high five on your way out- he’d love it!

Great people making great food. Atmosphere really makes me feel like I could bring someone to make ‘em an offer they can’t refuse. I don’t mean like it’s intimidating at all. It’s cozy and nostalgic, like meeting the boss for the first time y’know what I’m saying. You wanna be a part of the family dontcha? Otherwise, why else would you be looking to come here? Come on. Sit down. Eat.

Quality of food has gone down over the years.. :/ was especially disappointed tonight when I saw they had only cut 3 slices of the pizza pie?? Not even sure how that’s possible.. the entire pie was falling apart when we attempted to cut it ourselves.
Also, they don’t keep the pizzas stored in a way that keeps it warm for pick up orders.. cold mushy mess.

Eating and enjoying their food many times, both pizzas and chicken francese… I was very disappointed this evening with the chicken francese that was severely lacking in taste and in chicken, there were 4 tiny medallion size overcooked pieces of chicken no bigger than a 1/2 dollar and watery sauce overpasta. I hope this was a one time situation, maybe a new chef? I did call and let the owner know so that maybe he could address this Less than tasty meal and certainly not worth $27. The photo shows the entirety of the chicken, not even a full piece of chicken. Hoping the food returns to what I remember it being.

Old school Italian – in a good way. The chicken parm serving at lunch was just the right size and our server took care of a group of 10 that we had. The food took a little while to arrive (31 minutes) but it was tasty when it got there. Definitely consider this as a low-key date night kind of place if you’re in the mood for Italian.
